While the general public is included as the intended audience, the information provided in this resource could also be aimed toward the scientific community (particularly focusing on those areas of outdoor parks and activities). 8. If you wanted more information on this topic, where would you look? Why? The National Park Trust (parktrust.org) would have information on this topic since they are providing the funding for the projects included. While, in a broad sense, the general public is the intended audience/reader, this resource targets a more specific audience: the scientific community (particularly in areas of wildlife management, endangered species, and habitat conservation). 8. If you wanted more information on this topic, where would you look? Why? More information can be found on the Department of Interior’s website (doi.gov); specifically, information regarding President Biden’s America the Beautiful initiative is available from the DOI. Details about the Federal Register can be found on the DOI website or govinfo.gov.
