This section will support my argument through providing context to the history of anti-drug legislation and harm reduction strategies.
Section 2: Harm Reduction as a Sympathetic Alternative - Examples of hard reduction model and strategies - Examine the efficacy of existing and future harm reduction strategies in drug policy/legislation - Examine the ethical implications of existing and future harm reduction strategies in existing legislation This section will support my argument through an analysis of the efficacy and ethical implications surrounding existing drug legislation, and proposed future policy changes.
