I went on A Cloud Guru’s Azure Sandbox into Cloud Sandbox. As prompted in the assignment details, I followed each step until I could see all the identity resources. I then researched a few options that I thought would benefit my business. Upon doing research, I decided Active Directory (AD) would be the best option for my business among all identity services available in Azure. Active Directory (AD) is a resource that connects with a network that allows users to complete their job via a database and set of services. Active Directory (AD) is also known as a database that gathers important information about surroundings, including usage permissions and other factors.
Although all identity service provider has their specific benefits, I am attracted by the following benefits of Active Directory (AD)
1.
Active Directory inevitably boosts security through multi-factor authentication including a password-less mechanism that helps my organization’s data safety be on top.
2.
Active Directory minimizes support costs by allowing its clients’ self-service password reset system (SSPR) so that I do not have to spend time and cost to fix such issues.
3.
Active Directory (AD) is the new dimension for achieving applications against relying on network controls in the cloud which is why I will be updated in a new cloud world.
4.
Active Directory (AD) is flexible and scalable so that I can decide to grow my business as per my organization’s needs. For instance, hybrid work.
In addition to above mentioned four benefits, there are multiple other benefits of AD. Compared to contemporary other similar applications, I believe self-service password reset (SSPR) is unique. Features like an economy in cost, easy usage, and increased security attract more individuals like me. I take Active Directory (AD) as a blessing to users like me to complete

my job. I hope to use Active Directory in real for my business for all benefits provided by Microsoft.
