BSBPMG430 Undertake project work
This document is Project Scope Template.
It is part of the supporting assessment resources for Assessment Task 2 of BSBPMG430.
Native Bush Spices Australia
Project Scope
To be completed for all projects.
Introduction
According to Native Bush Spices, there is room for improvement on the website. Clients view their
company profile or data, thus it's critical that they look professional and appealing.
Scope
The goal of this project is to redesign Native Bush Spices Australia's website and logo, which
will have the following features:
1.
Updated the texts and added better content
2.
A fresh logo
3.
Add additional features to the website, such as a shopping cart, newsletters, staff
members' official pictures, updated product listings with fresh photos, and SEO
optimisation.
Legislative and regulatory context
Including WHS
Consumer Law in Australia
In order to guarantee that the products are accurate and suitable for their intended use, the firm
must make sure that it complies with Australian Consumer Law. Because the website must
represent the requirement to give customers accurate and comprehensive information about
items, this regulation must also be taken into account in terms of the project.
Laws and regulations pertaining to WHS
The WHS Regulations and Act of 2011 must be followed by the Coffs Harbour-based
organisation. Adhering to this Act and its rules involves a number of broad considerations,
including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control, or managing health and safety
concerns. WHS considerations that may be relevant to the project include making sure that
employees aren't working excessively long hours, which could lead to fatigue, or making sure
that employees take regular breaks to avoid staring at screens, or making sure that
workstations are configured in compliance with ergonomic guidelines.
Food Act 2003 and Food Regulations 2015
The business must make sure it complies with the Food Regulation 2015 and the Food Act
2003 (NSW). To guarantee a decrease in the prevalence of food-borne diseases, certain laws
and regulations are crucial. Rules and laws are applicable to the business overall, not just the
project. It may also be included on the website by assuring customers that the business is
dedicated to producing food of the highest caliber and abides by all laws and regulations.
Business objectives

support the website's growth by providing content or photos.
Relationship to other projects
Include dependencies
The creation of the logo will affect marketing branding initiatives as well as the introduction of new
products.
Reporting
Define the project’s reporting requirements
The initial project team meeting should be followed by the development of the project
management plan, which will need to be approved by the operations manager before being
presented to the team.
Every two weeks, the project manager should write a status report. The Operations Manager
has to review and approve this.
Four months after the project is over, the project manager should write a report on the project
evaluation and present it to the operations manager for approval.
