Microsoft 10 Features Essay This week has taught me that I am not as proficient as I thought I was with Microsoft Office and Windows 10 software as I thought I was. This week I realized that although I am familiar with some features of Windows 10 there is more that I could utilize. One of the features that I am interested in learning more about is the compress-to-zip file tool. Previously, I had to download a third-party tool to compress or unzip file folders. I am excited that Microsoft has added a ZIP file tool and want to learn more about it. I often overlook the Cortana feature as well. Cortana is the Microsoft AI personal assistant which can search the internet and system, track your schedule, and other cool features (Gaskin et al., 2019). It would be easy to use Cortana since my systems are used for personal and professional use to maximize my efficiency. The snipping tool is also a feature of Windows 10 that allows screenshots and captures to be saved (Gaskin et al., 2019). Although I do use this tool, I have never annotated the screenshot, which would be very useful for me in my professional work (Gaskin et al., 2019). Overall, I am excited to refresh and expand my knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365. Expanding my knowledge of these products will improve my efficiency at work and school.
