Overview As you have learned, selecting effective countermeasures involves recognizing and analyzing the adversarial threats you plan to target. It also entails identifying resources that are already available to the organization. A gap analysis is required to identify vulnerabilities and to see where additional resources—including new plans and procedures of technologies—may be required to reduce vulnerabilities and fill gaps. In Milestone Three, you will draft section II.C of the final project: the countermeasures analysis. You have been exposed to several attack types and created your courses of action table. This section of your plan will contain a brief narrative around your thinking in creating that table and how your security countermeasures will address the nature of those attacks. To prepare for the assignment, be sure to review the Final Project Guidelines and Rubric document to see how this milestone fits in the overall project. Also review the Final Project Scenario and Final Project Support documents. You will note that the rubric in this milestone activity is somewhat different, in that it is designed for you to have the opportunity to submit a draft of your work and receive valuable feedback for improving on it. The Final Project Rubric will require a higher level of performance. Prompt Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed: 3.
