WEEK 1- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLE 1 Week 1: Project Description and Deliverable Migration to the Cloud Environment Anusha Reddy Katta SEC 6040 Wilmington University
WEEK 1- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLE 2 Migration to the Cloud Environment To reduce the cost of managing IT infrastructure, traditional organizational data centers must be replaced by cloud computing environments. The e-commerce platform, which is administered in data center environments, is the contemporary business environment. The necessity for the integration of new technologies to fulfill the expanding business needs has grown as mobile computing and mobile technologies have become more prevalent. To support the expanding market demands, business analytics models must be integrated with deep learning and machine learning models. The cost of the IT infrastructure is rising as a result of the integration of new technologies with the existing e-commerce architecture. A cost-optimization strategy for online commerce with mobile commerce and e- commerce solutions can be built with the help of the installation of cloud migration with a software-as-a-service model and pay-per-use. To fulfill the rising needs for the integration of new features like location-based services, tailored advertising, and quicker payment handling, cloud migration is required. Cloud Architecture for Online Commerce Environment Based on the cloud architecture model published by NIST for the cloud computing environment, the cloud computing architecture chosen for the online commerce environment for mobile commerce and e-commerce. The NIST recommends the on-demand self-service model, broad network access, resource pooling, quick elasticity, and measured services for the cloud computing paradigm. The on-demand cloud computing services can aid in the development of an interactive network storage management model. Resource pooling aids in the development of an effective strategy for allocating resources to several clients while balancing the cost of IT infrastructure. Rapid elasticity facilitates the development of an effective model to add or delete cloud services in accordance with client requirements. The

WEEK 1- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLE 4 The architectural models required for the business have changed thanks to cloud computing. The cloud service consumer, cloud service providers, federation manager, federation operator, federation auditor, federation carrier, and federation broker are the foundational elements of the cloud architecture. The administrative domains and regulatory environments needed to manage cloud services are made available to the cloud computing model components. Figure 1 shows the reference architecture that NIST has made available. This reference architecture aids in improved cloud service administration for federated settings. The reference architecture's components can aid in improved cloud service management for online shopping environments with integrated services. Administrative Domains The administrative burden falls on the independent and autonomous identity supplier, cloud service provider, and cloud service users. The cloud service models are provided through federated identity management. The cloud service provider models are interwoven with the regulatory requirements, which may help to drive the governance models. With effective management of the cloud services, the policies are integrated with cloud computing models. In order to meet the expanding demands of cloud provider needs, identity providers are essential for cloud settings. For administrative domains to offer services like infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, and software-as-a-service models, users and consumers of cloud services are required (Sana, Hassina, & Kadda, 2021). Cloud Service Providers Based on their operational requirements, the cloud service management offers the reference architecture to the cloud service provider domains. The service areas of customer management, contract management, inventory management, billing management, reporting, pricing, customer rating, and auditing support the cloud service management for the online commerce environment. Service requests, monitoring models, metering, service level
WEEK 1- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLE 5 agreements, and quality of service management are all included in the provisioning. The likelihood of the data and its interoperability are combined to facilitate the disruption of cloud systems. To manage the resources for cloud environments depending on business needs, a resource abstraction and control layer is offered. Based on the demands and services of the business, the cloud service providers manage the components in the cloud environments. The service delivery model that is effective at managing cloud services and duties for online commerce environments and business demands is linked with the cloud environment (Simmon, 2018). Federated Operators and Federated Managers The entities are maintained by the federated operators, who also oversee the federated managers. The cloud environments are under the observation of federated operators. Federated managers offer the settings needed to handle deployment models and control cloud environment activities. With the use of governance models and service level agreements, the federated managers build policy management for cloud environments. The type of access and resource management in cloud settings is used to manage federated resource management. Federated managers track business cloud usage, offer reports, and handle billing for business services (Silva et.al, 2018). Security The regulatory audits that keep track of the cloud's compliance with legal obligations and service level agreements regulate its security. With effective management of the cloud environments, security and trust for those environments are developed. The discovery services are integrated to enhance the information security of the cloud environments (Halabi & Ballaiche, 2018).
WEEK 1- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLE 6 Conclusion To satisfy the cloud requirements for online commerce applications, the cloud reference architecture is suggested based on the NIST design. Integration of cloud technology services with effective management of the business needs allows for the management of the expanding needs of the business requirements. The federated architectural model that supports cloud environments balances the model of cloud service delivery with integrated security. The elastic model can be offered to the cloud architecture to create a resilient and long-lasting environment for the cloud service model.
