Throughout the course, you will need to identify various technology trends and sources of data that will help you understand those things impacting your CLC’s company. Sources may include the following: "Strategy Club," GCU Library, government sites, white papers, etc. Of the sources that you have identified, which sources do you believe would be most useful and why, as it applies
to the strategic case analysis and recommendations for strategic plan development?
While any of the sources listed would be extremely helpful in completing any coursework, it is
important to curate the best possible sources to utilize one’s time and resources effectively and efficiently. For strategic case analysis using a variety of equations and matrices to evaluate and
assess the performance and strategic opportunities of the business for our collaborative analyses, Strategy Club may be the most immediately useful as the template contains all of the needed Excel formulae in one package. The GCU Library and IBIS World would also be particularly handy for researching business trends and behaviors, while government sites may contain the raw data reported by publicly traded companies to create a better analysis. Most importantly, finding the correct balance of sources to inform and analyze a company's behavior, operations, and efficacy is essential, and one would surely benefit from approaching the CLC weekly goals by using multiple high-value sources.
