1. Identification - Describe your risk. Why is it a risk? What are the vulnerabilities and threats that
make it a risk?
2. Assessment - Use a qualitative measurement approach to designate your risk as Low, Medium, or
High. Explain your designations for probability and impact and justify your reasons.
3. Response - What strategies will you use to respond to the risk? What might those actions look
like?
4. Monitoring & Reporting - How can you keep track of your risk? How often do you think you should
reassess? Is there anyone to whom you should report the risk, if the risk changes or increases?
