Assessment 2 Project Scope Native Bush Spices Australia A project scope should detail and justify the key information such as objectives, benefits and funding of the proposed project. It is submitted to senior management.The project is based on an identified operational or strategic need. Introduction and background Currently the business is selling its products through several small supermarkets and health stores throughout Australia. However, the company’s website is old and has not been updated for a long time. The business was established in 2010 to cater for a demand for Australian native food products. This report aims to identify costs, benefits and risks of the new propose website for the company. The company should adhere the legislations as below: WHS legislation and regulations There are a range of general considerations in abiding by this Act and regulations such as identifying hazards, risk assessment and control, that is managing risks to health and safety. The organisation being based in Coffs Harbour must abide by the WHS Act 2011and WHS Regulations. WHS considerations that could apply to the project could be to ensure that staff are not spending long hours on the project, contributing to fatigue or that staff members are having regular breaks to provide a break from being in front of the screen or to ensure that work stations are set up in accordance with ergonomic requirements. Australian Consumer Law This legislation must therefore also be considered in terms of the project as the web site must reflect the need to provide consumers with accurate and complete information about products. The company must ensure that it abides by Australian Consumer Law so that the description of products provided to consumers is accurate and the products are fit for purpose. Criteria for success Some important key aspects are like easy navigation, easy to remember and the website is informative. With a successful website, it is possible to increase brand awareness. In the same token, timelines and quality must be achieved that include review the content of the website from time to time. Dependencies There are no dependencies involved Constraints
