Authority
The level of education and experience that qualifies an individual or group to
publish information on a given topic.
Bias: An inclination toward or against a particular perspective, group, or idea.
CRAAP Test
A method I can use to evaluate a source's currency, reliability, authority, accuracy,
and purpose

Credentials
The qualifications-such as academic degrees, work experience, and certifications-
that make someone reputable in a specific field. Evaluating an author's credentials is an important part of determining his or her authority.
Currency: The timeliness of information.
Purpose: The reason information was created.
Relevance: The importance of information.
Self-Published Material:
Material that hasn't been edited or reviewed by someone else. These materials require careful evaluation.
Uniform Resource Locator (URL)
The address for a website. The URL can tell me a lot about a website's author, publisher, and sponsor.
