Today's businesses use a range of AI technologies for a number of purposes, such as process automation,
customer support, and even decision-making. The ability to scale and improve accuracy and efficiency
are two benefits of AI in business. AI may, however, also result in further automation and the possibility
of job losses. When using AI in a business, it is crucial to thoroughly weigh its ramifications.
Within the more general category of artificial intelligence (AI), rule-based AI is one type of AI. This type
of artificial intelligence uses a predetermined set of rules as a driving force as it attempts to draw
conclusions. For tasks requiring the recognition of patterns in data, like the detection of fraudulent
activity and the creation of financial planning, rule-based artificial intelligence is widely employed (Beyer,
2017). Weather pattern prediction and medical diagnosis are two more frequent uses of rule-based
artificial intelligence (O’Donnell, 2018). Decision tree AI is a different type of AI that works similarly to
expert systems.
This type of artificial intelligence arranges the various possibilities available to it in a decision tree for
making decisions. Artificial intelligence decision trees are frequently employed in scenarios where
drawing conclusions from a large body of data is required, like in target marketing or credit scoring. Here
are a few instances of these jobs: The use of AI in commercial situations has a number of possible
benefits as well as some drawbacks. Among the many advantages of this system are its increased
accuracy and productivity, as well as its scalability (Beyer, 2017).
Since businesses are using artificial intelligence (AI) to automate more of their operations and processes,
there is a possibility that the number of jobs available may decrease. Furthermore, it's possible that a
process's degree of customization and human interaction will decrease as its automation level rises
(O’Donnell, 2018). Before you decide to utilize artificial intelligence in your organization, be sure you are
aware of the possible risks and consequences that it may have. There's a chance artificial intelligence (AI)
will offer several advantages.
