Learning outcomes
As a result of completing this activity, you will be able to:
Understand the concepts of plan-driven and iterative development.
Apply the concepts of iterative development.
Materials and supplies
Each student need a two version of Tetris game
Each Student need to run each version/Round at least 10 times and record their
findings.
The game of Tetris :
Round1: random Pieces
The program have a "matrix or well" and randomly generate the bricks/pieces and drop them to the "bottom" of the well (one of the narrow sides).
Each brick can be moved or rotated using up/down/left/right arrow keys, while it
is falling towards the bottom of the well: either at the bottom, or immediately above another brick.
No bricks can be placed completely or partially below another brick.
The game score and the number of used bricks, will be shown on the top of the page.
The game is over when a brick cannot be placed completely on the baseplate or number of used bricks reach 25.
Student needs to run the game 10 times and document the scores.
Round2: preplanned Pieces
The program have a "matrix or well" and randomly generate a set of four bricks/pieces out of seven.
The program let the user select the order of those four bricks.
In the "Select The Next Piece" form, student needs to select a brick index from the list of valid brick indexes, and click submit. Remember, student goal is to win with higher score!
Student can not select same brick again back to back. The program will remove the invalid brick indexes from the list.
Similarly , each brick can be moved or rotated using up/down/left/right arrow keys, while it is falling towards the bottom of the well: either at the bottom, or immediately above another brick.
No bricks can be placed completely or partially below another brick.
The game score and the number of used bricks, will be shown on the top of the page.
The game is over when a brick cannot be placed completely on the baseplate or number of used bricks reach 25.
Student needs to run the game 10 times and document the scores.
What to submit: Compare the average score from round 1 and 2.
Why is the score for round 2 score always higher?
How did you feel about the game play in the second round?
What are the similarities between the second round and scrum?

I quickly tested the tool, only for normal scenarios , (happy path). Please use discussion board if you find any faults. The code itself is not the main purpose of this assignment and I am sure this is not the best code!

This activity uses the game of Tetris
as a foundation.
The game is played by pairs of teams, A and B. Learning outcomes
As a result of completing this activity, you will be able to:
Understand the concepts of plan-driven and iterative development;
Apply the concepts of iterative development in a team setting.
Materials and supplies
Each pair of teams will need a selection of of standard (2x2, 2x3, 2x4, up to 2x8, and 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, up to 1x8) bricks.
Each pair of teams needs a small baseplate. The preferred size is 8x16. The game of Tetris with LEGO:
The baseplate serves as the "matrix or well" and the force of gravity pulls the bricks towards its "bottom" (one of the narrow sides).
Each brick needs to be placed as if it fell towards the bottom of the well: either at the bottom, or immediately above another brick. No bricks can be placed completely or partially below another brick.
Unlike the classical game, completed rows of bricks do not disappear--they stay in the well.
The game is over when a brick cannot be placed completely on the baseplate.
The number of baseplate studs covered by bricks divided by the size of the entire baseplate will be the team score.
The Round 1 and 2 instrcution will be on the monitor for teams to follow:
What to submit:
Compare the average score from round 1 and 2. Why is the score for round 2 score always
higher (even though Team B was instructed to construct a "difficult" sequence?)
How did you feel about the game in the second round?
What are the similarities between the second round and scrum?
