Data Analysis
Figure 1.1 shows the data collected for the week of September 25
th
– October 1
st
ofme studying Deck 2
on SAFMEDS for ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) 624. The Acquisition accel data for this week shows an
increasing trend with no variability. Variability is hypothesized to remain the same in an upwards trend.
The accel data point for this week shows I have met the AIM for deck 2 of week 5. Acquisition decel has a
no trend line from September 25
th
– October 1
st.
No change is necessary.
Figure 3.1 shows the fluency data collected for the week of September 25

st
. Fluency accel
has no trend with no variability. It is hypothesized that fluency accel will remain the same continuing into
the following week. Figure 3.1 also shows my fluency decel, having no trend and is hypothesized to
maintain that trend as well. No necessary change is needed at this time.
Study Approach and Adjustments:
Antecedent
: My study method since the beginning of my previous courses, which has been completing
my SAFMEDS during the week (Monday- Friday), this week I wasn’t able to keep that method steady and
completed all SAFMEDS during the weekend again. I have run my timings when I wasn’t exhausted or
overwhelmed which is why I missed a day of doing it during the week.
I also must get my kids distracted
before I begin any schoolwork, so I am at peace and quiet. I wasn’t able to run my timings this week
during the week only, and they also bounced from different times of the day. I was able to meet my AIM
this week. I used my study deck to study for 5-10 min this week for my frequency deck. I needed a
refresher. I would run the study mode from 5-10 minutes for the acquisition deck since I am still getting
used to this new deck, then run my timings.
Behavior:
At the beginning of week 5 I started off by running my frequency deck for 30 seconds and ran it 3 times a
day for 5 days straight. I like to run the fluency deck first because those are the terms I already know and
have had more time to learn those, so it was easier to do that deck first for the five days straight. Then
after running the frequency deck, I would run my acquisition deck study mode first then run it for
30seconds, 5 times a day for 5 days straight on trial mode. For this deck I ran study mode for 5-10

minutes. After running my acquisition deck each day, I would go to precision X and enter my best of the
day timing on the graph for the given day and time.
Consequence
:
My goal for week 5 was able to meet my AIM by the end of the week. I was able to run trials at different
times during the day, during the week for week 5. I didn’t have a set time to do my trials and study. I
would sit down and study first before I ran the trials, I was able to meet my AIM. I was also able to keep
my decel cards at a no trend. No adjustments will be made for my acquisition deck nor my study method
as I believe I found my rhythm.
Adjustments:
No adjustments necessary for accel or decel deck.
