Out of 100 employees that completed an exit interview, 28 of them indicated their primary reason for leaving was due to not feeling safe operating the equipment
. With top third answer being that I did not receive enough training
, this coincides with why employee may not have felt safe operating the equipment. The first step in mitigating this issue is to revamp the training, ensuring that there are check points where we are checking for understanding and providing additional training where needed. This should help solve two of the biggest issues simultaneously. 28
