The implementation of this legislation proved to be exceedingly efficient in aiding law enforcement by providing them
with additional resources for conducting background investigations and identifying potential perpetrators of terrorist acts within the United States. Moreover, this Legislation facilitated the identification of financial supporters of terrorist groups and
enhanced efforts to locate and apprehend terrorists, thereby significantly increasing the safety of the nation.

The principal objective of the legislation is to inhibit acts of terrorism in the United
States and alleviate their impact, while also aiding in the recovery process following any such attacks (2003)
Legislative action led to the establishment of a new government division with a specific purpose of strengthening security within the boundaries of the United States.
Additionally, a new leader was appointed to oversee this department and report directly to the President of the United States. This agency has effectively stopped numerous terrorist plots since September 11th and its noteworthy efforts have been acknowledged by authorities.
