The final step in the death of the Roman Empire is when their leader, Constantine,
moves the capital from Rome to the Greek city of Byzantium.
This move shifted the
center of power from Rome to the east.
Constantine changed the name of the city
to Constantinople (the city of Constantine).
Once the split finally occurs, the East
will survive, the West would fall.
