Lost Colony of Roanoke Quiz
according to the video An English colony called the Roanoke Colony, commonly referred to as
the "Lost Colony," was founded in what is now North Carolina in the latter half of the 16th
century. One of history's greatest mysteries is still the whereabouts of the colony. After seeing the
video, I believe that the colony's demise was caused by clashes with Native American groups,
notably the Croatan tribe. I also think that the colonists may have assimilated into native tribes or
perished in battles. Or perhaps the colonists tried to leave the Roanoke Island encampment in
search of more advantageous resources or safety.
I only got one question wrong on the test, which was number 10, "What happened to the
Roanoke settlers?" Although I accidentally clicked on the wrong option, the quiz was still
engaging.
