System that have the potential of creating positive outcomes. These steps that leads to
implementing are consideration and procedures that needs to be put in place to ensure that the
system being considered fits the needs of the organization. These steps are important to achieve
the company’s goals and ensure that the system will match the organization needs We will be

information system and how and where to research information system options. Implementing
and solving problems that could potentially affect the system performance and decide if the

ensure that the system is aligned with the company’s plan. Is it a promising investment?
It should align up with the goals expectation. To start this process, you will need

issues the system may have and have them corrected before purchasing.

the System meet our specific needs. You need to ensure that you are getting the right system for
your business and patient needs. Also, another important question to ask is one of the vendors.
Does the vendor offer maintenance and support for the system? The team and business need to
be supported with IT professions in cases where problems may arise. Will the system be
compatible with that of other practices or hospitals you regularly share information with? Will
the new system solve the problems you have with the current system? If you are looking for a
new information system, likely there are problems with the current one, or it is simply outdated.
What makes this system better, and does it improve upon your current processes? It is important
you go into the situation loaded with a plethora of questions. Ask your team for input, especially
the ones who will be using it daily
Questions to Ask Yourself/Your Organization
Among important queries is how this would affect the company. Will there be a big
effect. And what outcomes will it produce? We can set objectives all day long, but they won't do
us any good if we don't know what kind of result, we want to attain and what steps must be taken
to get there. If you were intending to buy a house, would you draw up a plan to determine how
much money you would need to save and over how long? Every plan requires a vision and an
understanding of the steps required to get there. When making decisions for your business, you
should consider the following: What is the cost and do it fit with the budget for the investment.
What is the main reason the company will be purchasing the system.
What type of system will improve the main priority that the company is
focusing on improving.
5
What software will be required to effectively run and accomplish the goals
set.
What potential setback or the risk.
There are many ways to research the Health Information system. One of the ones that I
will be using during my career is finding partners that are already using the system getting
feedback. I feel this will be the most sufficient way to research. This allows those that is using
the system give honest feedback from their experience on performance, support, and capability.
Other research options are attending workshops requesting free consultations.
.
For the plan and goals to be reality required steps are needed to be performed. All steps
within the cycle are essential. This ensures that the system can deliver the results and achieve the
priority of purchasing the system in all aspects.
