Political, Economic, Social, Technical, Environmental, and Legal is referred to by the acronym PESTEL. These factors can aid in predicting organizational change because they are utilized in assessing an organization's macroenvironment. Leaders may make decisions more likely to be successful if they are fully informed of the risks and opportunities associated with each option. Duncan Green argues in his book How Change
Happens that three things need to happen for change to happen: a crisis, an opportunity, and a champion. Green claims that when these three elements come together, change occurs. There is a haste to act when faced with a crisis. A period when resources and political will are combined to bring about change is known as a "window of opportunity."
Someone or something that is fully dedicated to bringing about change is called a champion. You can also use the PESTEL elements as a reference to assist you in determining the best course of action in an emergency. When faced with a decision between two solutions, one can utilize the PESTEL criteria to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Week 4 Discussion 4A
I have had the good fortune to have many highly impactful mentors. One such mentor was a formidable and inspirational woman who encouraged me to strive for excellence and never give up. She instilled in me the value of commitment and diligence, and her advice and encouragement gave me the confidence I needed to be successful. Her commitment to my development and achievement was immediately apparent. She was always there to listen, offer direction and counsel, and go above and beyond to ensure I was headed in the correct order. Her sincere concern for my development and well-being was what really made her have such a fantastic effect. She was always willing to listen, give counsel, and show support. She had a great influence on my life and was an important mentor. She assisted me in expanding my knowledge and skill set and inspired and supported me in becoming the most excellent version of myself. Having watched this video and thought back on my experiences, I'm resolved to improve as a mentor on both a personal and professional level. I try to be more approachable, accessible, and empathetic with the people I mentor. I also make the time to actively listen, give insightful counsel, and provide the assistance required to enable others to achieve their objectives. In addition, I'll always respect my mentees' opinions and choices and be
straightforward, honest, and caring. I want to make the most of every mentoring connection and will be more dedicated.
