"FERPA gives the parents the right to their child's educational records. These rights are transferred to the child once they have reached 18 or enrolled in a postsecondary school." The right to review student's education records The right to request the school to correct the student's record if it is believed it is incorrect The right to a hearing if the school does not amend the student record The right to have a letter attached with the record with their statement of what they believe is accurate if the school refuses to amend the records.
