Why was the program or initiative successful? The Program, YMCA, was successful because of the collaboration of the YMCA and Recreation Department. The CEOs of both offered collaboration for the new YMCA site. The partnership came out of a tragedy but came out something way more the community. The opportunity created a vision for the health, wellness, and economic development. 2.
