How can an understanding of the relationship between microsystems and macrosystems facilitate efforts to improve the quality of public health? Evaluate both micro and macro factors that contribute to the overall health of a community.
Hello Class,
Health care organizations have different autonomous microsystems the relationship between microsystem and macrosystem are bigger systems are made of smaller systems and these smaller systems produce quality, safety outcomes of care (Johnson & Sollecito 2020). It is important to involve each microsystem in a health care organization if the organization wants to improve. Per our textbook microsystems cannot function independently it needs to work with a macrosystem, and this is due to having a goal on overall patient safety that align with strategies that provide a safe quality care to the community they serve. By combining both micro and macro factors it can help identify areas for improvement in public health such as public health programs that are offered.
