Discussion 1: Implementation Science
Lack of Implementation of Big Data Research While a sufficient amount of research has been conducted, many issues arise due to failure to interpret or implement the results. According to Bauer and Kirchner (2020), establishing the efficacy of a clinical innovation is not a guarantee of its implementation to regular utilization. The implementation science has been established to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based practices, leading to increased public health impact. The big data challenge makes it difficult to implement evidence-based practice, mainly attributed to the absence of skilled workers who can create and construct models and software based on big data (Dash et al.,
2019). Big data development and analysis may be made more effective by providing reliable information on how to use it. A good example of studies not implemented is social media studies, which may potentially have a substantial influence on society. Potential Barriers to Implementing the Research Analyzed
The primary challenges associated with implementing research findings are the lack of knowledge of the data, funding problems, and political will. The lack of sufficient resources makes it difficult for academics to utilize data on the influence of social media on society. Furthermore, policymakers may be hesitant to take risks needed to execute the study, hindering the ability of researchers to exploit their findings (Bahadori et al., 2016). Lack of resources and political will is another roadblock to applying research findings. Potential Gaps Existing Between Evidence-Based Approaches and The Research Process
The discrepancies in the evidence-based techniques and research process could be attributed to a lack of adequate knowledge of the data and its potential ramifications. The potential gaps that may exist between evidence-based approaches and the research process could

also be linked to several factors, including lack of sufficient resources, inability to access and analyze the evidence, and lack of evidence or existing knowledge on a specific issue. These gaps contribute to the discrepancies that exist between evidence-based approaches and the research process.
