How does heredity affect performance in those skills? I would say running my mom likes to exercise and run and so she used to push me in the stroller and go running when I was a baby. As I was growing up, I always went with her and so it’s something I picked up on and enjoyed. I also learned how to play basketball from her. She played basketball in high school, and she taught me how to play and it’s something I really enjoy. Heredity affects performance in my skills because it was passed down to me. Since my mom is athletic it passed it down to me. 2. How did your exercises this week help you improve your skill-related fitness components of speed, agility, and reaction time? Exercise is good for the body, speeds up metabolism, and makes your body flexible throughout daily tasks because most of my physical activities include speed. 3. How did your exercises this week help you improve your skill-related components of balance, coordination, and power? I love to ride my bike. Bike riding helps with balance and basketball helps with coordination and power. When I go running it helps with power every exercise included improve my skill-related components. 4. How does dancing promote skill-related fitness? Dancing enhances balance, agility, coordination, power, reactivity, and speed . Dancing gives you the perfect skill-related fitness you need. 5. Think about the exercises you did this week. Which SPORT and FITT principle(s) did you use this week ? Which ones will you use next week? Explain I used to run and the principle I used was Time and Intensity because running takes a lot of energy, and it was very intense and vigorous running we did. Intense running is good for the
cardiovascular and helps with breathing control when you are running. I chose Time because we timed ourselves out and set a specific time goal for running. 6. Did you meet your goal throughout this activity log? Why or why not? I feel that I always meet my goal because I enjoy the activities I chose, and I do the activities literally every day. I wish I spent longer time on the activities but sometimes I do the activities in a shorter time or longer time.
