PHY 205 Sedimentary Rock Short Paper Guidelines and Rubric
Select a geographic area (locally or within your national park) and write a 2–3-page paper that identifies areas that are composed of sedimentary rock. Describe any economic value that may exist, and discuss how the sedimentary rock is connected to the geological history of the area.
What to Submit
The short paper must follow these formatting guidelines: double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and discipline-appropriate citations. Incorporate at least one scholarly resource. Page length requirements: 2–3 pages.
