How Much is too Much ? I believe some level of pollution is un-avoidable as humans who are extremely dependent on industrialisation. However; there should be a safe level that we achieve where we can still thrive as an industrial society without killing our planet. That may include more governmental money spent towards finding ways to reduce pollution. In order to reach a safe level that causes little to no harm to humans or the planet no expense should be spared. My data to support this is, 80% of my classmates believe that air pollution is a major problem in the U.S 60% of them believe that air pollution is a major problem in El Paso Texas. About 50% of them believe that a level of safe air pollution should be achived no matter how much it may cost.
Origin of Air Polution. Most people think that the only pollution that matters is the one we can see, the smog in the sky, the clouds of grey that come out of factories and peoples cars. However it seems that the biggest cause of pollution is human life, because in most things we do from driving, working and buying things from the store, we are creating pollution. People may think that just because we cannot see it physically it must not be there and therefore it doesnt matter and the only pollution hurting is those big grey clouds but thats not entirely true. Humans are the main cause of pollution and it is far more complex then you can physically see. Here is my data, alittle over 80% of my classmates agree that human activity is the source of most human pollution. About 75% of my classmates dissagree with the fact “if it cannot be seen or smelled it does not matter.” Solutions
There are many things that people can do in order to help reduce pollution and its problems. This can range from new advancements for clean energy coming out, to people doing small things to reduce their personal pollution on the world such as taking public transportation or walking place to place, paying a bit more for products that are made in a eco friendly manor or everyone listening to government imposed rules about pollution. In my opinion it is a mix of all of these and more we as a society can do to preserve the world we have left and reduce the pollution that has been happening for way too long. We just have to be willing to make certain changes in out lives that frankly may seem small but will go a long way, the way to reduce harmful air pollution. Here is my data, 100% of my classmates agree that they are willing to make daily changes to their life style in order to reduce pollution they have been making. 100% of my classmates agreed theyd be willing to listen to government rules about pollution in order to help reduce it.
