Assignment 3: Pitch Email Amber Leech ENG 116 Dr. Ron Davis December 11, 2023 1
TO: supervisor@myorganization.com FROM: Amber.Leech@myorganization.com DATE: December 11, 2023 SUBJECT: Day Care Recommendation Dear Ms. Lauren Douglass, Thank you for taking the time to read my email about opening an on-site day care center. I believe that having an on-site day care center would benefit both parties because it would allow employees to concentrate on their job of getting the product out and that benefits the company by bringing in more money because of the number of products going up. The risk is the cost that it would take to open and maintain the day care but in the end it will easily be made back plus profit. After reviewing the research, I think this organization should adopt the new policy because the benefit outweighs the risk. A company's main goal is being able to get their product out in a timely matter. When dealing with time and work, it would be so much easier for the parents to just be able to walk down the hall to their children and that alone saves time. (Florida, 1) Rana Florida said it all when she said this. It would save time and money for the company and the employess as well and would be most beneficial for both. Not only would parents have a peace of mind but they would be able to concentrate on their job and therefore the production would move far more effeciatly and benefit the company as well. One risk is the start-up cost for staffing, leases, and maintaining insurance and up keep but the end result would easily be paid back plus profit at the end of the day. I believe that it is less important because even though the cost is high and the up keep can be expensive, it can easily be made back with profit. In conclusion, the risk of starting a day care center may require money but it will be made back plus profit. In conclusion, having an on-site day care center would be beneficial to both employees and to the company. The reason for this recommendation is, because as a mother myself, I know first hand how hard and frustrating it can be trying to find a suitable and safe day care and trying to work at the same time. I thank you for taking the time to read my email and recommendation. I hope that you have a blessed day. Respectfully, Amber Leech 2
