Introduction
Creating a positive and caring learning environment is essential for supporting the holistic development of children. In a study conducted by Littman (2017), the significance of
play in the social and emotional development of preschoolers was explored. The research aimed to identify the most effective teaching methods and nurturing environments that promote learning and growth while reducing behavioral challenges. According to Zero to Three (2016), play is vital to cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development, as it facilitates communication, problem-solving, idea testing, and positive interactions with others. Littman (2017) conducted a qualitative case study to examine preschool children's social and emotional development during playtime. The study included participants aged four
years, five months to 5 years, and four months in Virginia. Detailed descriptions of the preschool's environment were provided, including the arrangement and color scheme of the classrooms.
