Persuasive Essay 2 Abstract Project based learning is a way to help students build their writing skills to help them express their thoughts according to their knowledge. Project based learning helps build students writing skills which allows students to exercise their abilities according to what interests them the most. Allowing students to build their writing skills allows them to gain knowledge and this should be the main outcome when it comes to learning in the classroom. Students should be open to follow the seven-step program, specific guidelines, or the ADDIE development model to progress towards project-based learning in the classroom because no one is completely ready to just dive into project-based learning without going through the proper steps. Within this paper I will answer the question, what are the effects of project-based learning in the classroom? Does project-based learning bring about positive outcomes when it comes to learning? It is my hypothesis that project-based learning brings about positive effects and outcomes when students engage in collaborative projects such as project-based learning. In project-based learning, it is always imperative to understand and appreciate real-world challenges. Project-based learning can easily promote serious thinking among students. It is beneficial for students to gain thinking skills as well as collaboration skills and this is something that everyone needs now and in the future at a workplace. Grouping students together allows the opportunity for effective investigation to test meaningful questions. Allowing students to not only gather important information for research but help them build critical thinking skills. However, in many mainstream school's project-based learning is being minimized because most teachers are not trained, and they lack experience.
Persuasive Essay 3 The utilization of project-based learning requires a great deal of understanding. Understanding should be focused on concepts and projects guided by the teachers as well as modeling along with effective strategies for problem solving. Questions that should be included are those that are challenging and that supports collaboration in the classroom. Project-based learning includes engaged and active learning, and it motivates students to gain a deeper understanding. Also, students can easily gain knowledge about a specific subject they're studying. After effective research, it indicated that students will most likely remember the knowledge that was gained through the project-based learning approach rather than using a traditional textbook. “Proponents of the approach claim that as students investigate these problems, they acquire an understanding of key concepts and principles as they are placed in realistic contextulized problem solving environment s (Blumenfeld el al. 1991)”. The article examines students from third grade to sixth grade students considering student learning styles first before implementing project-based learning therefore, it is important that teachers understand the kind of learners in his/her classroom before the implementation of project-based learning in the classroom takes place. When it comes to project-based learning students can work on projects for an extended period of time which often lasts from a month to even a semester at a time. They have the opportunity to engage with their peers helping one another solve real world problems. The reason why project-based learning is needed is because it helps students in their future as well. Students are not just able to solve real world problems in the actual world itself but on the job too. Some positive effects from teachers implementing project-based learning are that students get the chance to develop deeper knowledge, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.

Persuasive Essay 4 It helps to provide positivity to the classroom environment by helping to unleash creative energy among both student and teacher. Many teachers include project-based learning throughout the school year. However, project-based learning is a learning approach that has been adopted by many students. Project-based learning requires students to engage in higher order thinking skills. Another benefit is that everyone learns how to effectively work with one another. Project-based learning in the classroom can be implemented by teachers in several ways. Teachers must consider the neeeds of each student therefore, effective examination is required. Also, the project needs to be relevant according to the topics that are instructed by their teacher to take on so it should prove relevance. “Project based learning is an important part of the elementary school curriculum ” (Smart Lab, 2023). This kind of learning is suitable for the elementary classroom more than the upper grade level. Teachers can easily implement this kind of learning in the classroom and the first way would be through field trips which allow students to easily learn about their community. Technology is another way to help implement project- based learning which allows students to create their very own projects such as the implementation of a website. There are a few challenges as well that need to be addressed, and that is keeping students engaged for the length of time the project takes to complete however, this can be easily solved by creating a reward system which is effective among younger students of this grade level. Including a reward system will get students excited to learn and want to continue to learn as often as possible. This topic of research is a relevant one in my field of study because student learning is something that needs to be addressed. The goal each year for teachers is to help students meet their academic goals for the school year. Finding effective ways such as project-based approach prepares students not just for their academics, but it prepares them for their careers. There are
Persuasive Essay 5 greater benefits for teachers incorporating project-based learning in their classrooms today because students must build their developmental skills at a certain point in their lives. This is a great way to build many skills that students need to be successful individuals in the world. It is always a struggle to find a niche to get students to want to learn. As many times I am sure at one point in time you were not interested when your teacher was lecturing, and it may have been considered boring to you. Put yourself in your past teacher shoes that tried to capture the attention of 18 plus students at one time and sometimes even more. It is quite hard to keep students interested the whole class period without them de-engaging and this is where project- based learning should fill that gap. The chosen research question “The Effects of Project - Based Learning” is supportive of teachers, because not all teachers are aware that there are steps before project-based learning could even be considered and utilized. Also, many teachers are not aware of project-based learning because they simply lack knowledge, and many are stuck in older traditions rather than incorporating the 21 st century ones. To get teachers involved as they should be then teachers' participation is needed after school taking on learning shops so they can always learn and refresh their knowledge as often as possible. Practitioners can use this outcome to incorporate information that can be utilized in their classrooms. Many educators are not aware of the benefits of project-based learning, and they can use this information to capture the attention of their students. Many teachers are looking for appropriate ways to build their student knowledge while ensuring that they are developing appropriately. This would be an efficient approach for teachers who is willing to take prior steps to eventually utilize project-based learning understanding and this is something that don’t need to be rushed into because teachers must use the proper approaches to learn each of their students.
Persuasive Essay 6 This research question is imperative to answer because teachers' loan for effective ways to connect with their students while they build knowledge. Future practitioners may use these positive outcomes from project-based learning to do a study trial to see how well it works among his/her students in the classroom. This is a way that teachers get a chance to analyze and observe to learn more about each student. Most teachers share information by collaborating with one another like project-based learning offers students and their peers, Students get the opportunity to work alongside of their peers testing out their questions. There are many ethical concerns that can stem from the actual research process. However, I am most worried about assuring that I can include one's data in my findings. Asking someone to use their data that was collected seems like an easy thing, but what if that participants decides not to and change his/her mind, will that data be lost and must be replaced by someone who is willing to give their data? When I think about ethical concerns, I think about the ones that could possibly have me start my research over from the beginning or the things that may happen that could potentially stop my actual research. The project-based learning approach should be tried at least once if not included in the classroom daily. It is hard for teachers to keep their student's attention and focus especially with teaching multiple children at one time. There are many pros than cons to project-based learning in the classroom. Why not include a learning approach that can be helpful to both teacher and student? Teachers get a chance to “get to know” their students' academic strengths and weakness up close and personal which gives them the opportunity to touch on topics that can be supported by projects that would allow them to learn even further.
