CSIS 100 Question 9: Compare the IPv4 address listed in your ipconfig output to the IP address that is listed under the Source column in your Wireshark capture for the first “GET / HTTP/1.1” row. Are these IP addresses the same? Why or why not? Those IP addresses are different because has different purposes the IPv4 Address: 10.2.77.246 (preferred) means this is my current and preferred address and the http get request GET /GoGetSSLRSADVCA.crt HTTP/1.1 it’s an instruction sent from a client (Web Browser) to a server to retrieve specific resource in this case we are looking for the certificate "GoGetSSLRSADVCA.crt." Question 10: Click on the row of the next packet in this conversation. Does your IP address appear in the Source or Destination column? Why? Yes, my IP address, 10.2.77.246 (preferred) , appears in the destination column. This is because when I make a request, such as loading a web page, my IP address acts as the Sender awaiting a response from the server. In this scenario, the server's response is directed towards my IP address, Initially, when sending out the request, my IP address would be in the source column since I'm the one initiating the communication. However, when the server replies, my IP address will appear in the destination column. Page 6 of 5
