Daisy Morales ENGL 1302 Short Assignment 3 Dear Dr. Quack, I have watched both videos from The Missing Enigma that you asked me to review. After careful consideration, here are my thoughts on what may have happened in these two cases. The first video, “Abduction or Imagination,” is indeed a very strange story. It appears to be about a young boy who claims to have been abducted by a robotic grandmother and taken to an underground cavern. While this does sound like something out of a science fiction movie, it is not entirely impossible. It is possible that the boy was taken by someone he knew, and that person was wearing some sort of robotic suit to disguise their identity. The underground cavern may have been a hiding place for the abductor. However, without any concrete evidence, it is difficult to say for sure what exactly happened. While it is understandable to be skeptical about such claims, the child seemed genuinely terrified, and his fear appeared to be genuine. The details of his experience are consistent and vivid. Additionally, the video includes footage of the location where the child claims to have been abducted, which adds a degree of veracity to his story. However, in regard to him telling the truth, his story could be interpreted as evidence that he is not telling the truth. For example, his story is highly implausible, and there is no physical evidence to support it. Furthermore, the boy’s account is inconsistent with what we know about the natural world and the law of physics. While there are some aspects of his account that seem genuine, there are also several aspects that are highly implausible but in my personal opinion, the boy’s story is certainly strange and raises many questions. I don’t believe a robotic grandmother is what led him to an underground cavern. The second video, “The Silent Watchers in The Woods,” is equally strange. It appears to be about a young man who claims to have traveled to an alternate dimension where he met his

The young man’s story is corroborated by his sister, who also claims to have traveled to this alternate dimension. However, the police are skeptical, and they have interrogation tapes of the young man that suggest he may have been involved in his sister’s disappearance. The young man in question, who was a suspect in the case, was eventually released due to the reappearance of his sister, who corroborated his story. This is a very complicated case, and it is difficult to know what to believe. It is possible that the young man and his sister are telling the truth and that they really did travel to an alternate dimension. However, it is also possible that they are lying and that the young man did have something to do with his sister’s disappearance. The lack of physical evidence and the fact that no one else seems to have witnessed these events makes it hard to prove the veracity of their claims. It is possible that the man was suffering from some sort of mental illness or delusion which caused him to believe that his sister had been abducted. It is possible that he created this story to throw off the authorities and avoid being charged with a crime. Furthermore, the concept of alternate dimensions and strange observers is highly speculative and lacks scientific evidence. Regardless of what actually happened, it is clear that this is a strange and complex case that requires further investigation. In my personal opinion, the sister had to create an alibi for the man. He may have believed that by fabricating a story about alternate dimensions and strange observers, he would be able to confuse the authorities and avoid being charged with murder. Additionally, the fact that the young man’s “sister” turned up alive and told the same story suggests that they may have coordinated their story beforehand.
Daisy Morales ENGL 1302 Short Assignment 3 In conclusion, it is unlikely that the individuals are telling the truth about what they experienced. The young man’s preposterous tale appears to be an attempt to cover up a crime, and the inconsistencies in his story suggest that it is not credible. Sincerely, Daisy Morales
