(citing evidence only from the weekly module
(not the internet)
-
3 sources
from Period 8, part 1 - to
answer
1 of the following 5
essential concepts/questions of the Period 8 Unit of Study:
Explain the continuities and changes in Cold War policies from 1945 to 1980.

*A note about
citing your sources:
for this assignment only, you only need to cite your source
in-text,
not on a Works Cited page.
So, if you were providing information about McCarthyism, you could write a sentence that puts the copied text in quotes, and at the end of the sentence in parenthesis, cite your source, like this (author's last name first, "Title in quotes"):
Although Senator McCarthy often seemed publicly and politically untouchable, Truman expressed his disdain in private. In a letter to Dean Acheson, he stated, "I think we have these "animals" on the run. Privately, I refer to McCarthy as a pathological liar, and Wherry as the block-headed undertaker of Nebraska. Of course, we can't do that publicly, but there's no doubt that's exactly what they are" (Truman, "Truman Responds to McCarthy, 1950").
*Plagiarized work will result in a student receiving a zero on the assignment.
