Beauty Essay : The Perception Of Beauty
Guadalupe Bartolo Dr. Harper Senior Capstone December 4, 2017 The Perception of Beauty A
common aphorism is ,"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Beauty is a combination of qualities –
such as shape, color, or form – that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight. Individuals
believe that through personal relationship experience, they create an idea of what aesthetic
characteristics they are searching for; women are usually seen as the objective of this appeal.
Through generations, one can see the power beauty has over civilizations or societies; such as the
fact that ancient Greeks worshipped the goddess Aphrodite – a woman – because she represented
true beauty, even though, Greek women were thought of as inferior to males. Beauty is so powerful
that external influences take advantage of the significant beauty has on people, to exploit it for their
own self benefit. Vivian Diller, a psychologist in New York City, renders to the fact that, "even the
words we use to describe it [beauty] reflect its power – like stunning, knockout and bombshell – all
of which connote the violent impact it has on others". People believe they choose whom they find
attractive yet there are external influences that play a force in the human mind such as the media,
public figures, cosmetic industries, and culture influence people's inner perception of whom one
finds beautiful. External influences can make the most impact in perceptions and ideals such as the
media. The media

Essay on True Beauty
Many people will say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however if you look back through
history it is apparent that beauty is in the eye of society. Just like fashion, the image of a "beautiful
woman" has varied with culture and time. What was considered attractive in Elizabethan Europe
was pale, blonde, and curvy whereas today in America it's tan, blonde, and thin. Women have put
themselves through misery attempting to change their bodies and their features to match what
society is calling beautiful. Today they cover themselves with makeup, diet to extremes, and go
through cosmetic surgery, all of which can actually be harmful to the body.
The first cosmetics were used for religious purposes. Primitive men used make–up to

Permanent make–up methods were also developed (Angeloglou 110–118).
Between celebrities with gorgeous hair and models with perfect skin many women today feel they
must use make–up and other beauty products in order to feel like they are beautiful. Cosmetics such
as lotions, skin creams, perfumes, nail polishes, hair dyes, hair spray, and make–up products like
lipstick, mascara, and blush are used excessively in hopes to attain a flawless complexion and
perfect facial features. When cosmetics are used in small amounts they can be okay, however, by
trying to hide flaws behind layers of make–up women are just creating more problems for
themselves and their skin ("Cosmetics and Your Health").
There is nothing wrong with using moderate cosmetic products. It's important to use lotions, soaps,
and shampoos for cleanliness and good hygiene. It's also fine for someone to use small amounts of
make–up to cover up small blemishes and to make themselves feel attractive and more confident.
However, women should not feel that the only way they look beautiful is if they completely cover
their face with foundation, blush, lipstick, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and other make–up. Or that
the only way their hair looks good is when it's dyed and straightened. Women should learn to be
comfortable in their own skin, especially since by using these products they can actually be harming

Beauty And The Beast Essay
Beauty and the Beast is probably one of the most well known fairy tales that the Grimms'
reproduced. In it's original form it was a long, drawn out story that was catered to adults. The
Grimms' changed the story to be more understood by children and made it short and to the point.
Unlike many of the other fairy tales that they reproduced, Beauty and the Beast contains many
subtle symbols in its purest form. It shows a girl and how she transfers to a woman; it also shows
that beauty is in the eye of the beholder
. The one major thing that separates this story from all the
rest is that Beauty gets to know the Beast before marrying him.
The story starts out simply enough. There was a merchant who had three

The Beast then asks Beauty to marry him and although she has become a friend with the Beast, she
can not imagine marrying him. She is still horrified by his appearance The Beast does not take her
turning him down personally; instead he gives her a mirror. This mirror is magical; it allows Beauty
to see her family who is far away.
In the mirror Beauty can see her family and she sees that her father is very ill. She then wishes out
loud, "if only I could see him." The Beast in turn shakes his head and turns away. The Beast sees
how much pain and grief this realization causes Beauty and tells her that he will let her go if she
promises to return in seven days. Beauty is thrilled and throws herself down at the Beast's feet.
Beauty returns home to tell her father that the Beast is really kind and good but she enjoys being
home so much that seven days pass by without her realizing it. Her love for the beast comes to her
in a dream. She dreams that the Beast was dying and calling for her. She then in turn, jumps upon
her horse to return to the castle. When she arrives at the castle the Beast is lying in the rose garden
as though he was dead. Beauty throws herself at his feet again and says, " Don't die, I will marry
you." It is then and only then that the Beast is transformed into a handsome prince. It is then that his
secret is revealed. A spell was cast upon him by a witch in which he was turned into a Beast. The

What is Beauty? Essay
What is beauty? How do we decide who is attractive and who is not? Society is full of information
telling us what is beautiful, but what fact is that information based on? The topic of beauty has been
studied, analyzed and controversial for centuries. We all know the feeling you can have when you
hear a beautiful song that brings joy to your heart, stand in a field of flowers that excites your eyes,
or admire a face that is visually pleasing. As human beings, we are all drawn to beauty, but what is it
that makes something beautiful? The controversial issue that surrounds beauty is that some believe
that true beauty is defined by someone's outer appearance, while others believe it is something that
is experienced through a person's

In men the most desirable features are a big jaw and broad chin. Smooth skin, shiny hair, lean body
and facial symmetry are also important qualities of beauty. Dateline conducted experiments to see if
beautiful people were treated better than unattractive people. The results were an overwhelming,
yes. Men would stop and help pretty women in distress every time, while they would walk right by a
less attractive woman that needed help. Studies have consistently shown that attractive people get
favorable treatment in many situations. They are more accepted in their peer groups, they receive
better treatment in stores and restaurants, and they are hired more often with higher pay. Are these
things that make up outer beauty more important than inner beauty? There are a large group of
individuals who believe that outer beauty is temporary while inner beauty is untouchable and ever
lasting, and that is what makes someone truly beautiful. Even photographers that photograph
beautiful models say that they look for girls that portray a beautiful soul behind the face or a feeling
of kindness that shows through. It is amazing how inner beauty can make an average looking person
light up a room with there heart–stopping presence. It is a permanent quality which makes an
individual interesting, reachable, and trustworthy. If you feel beautiful, your own confidence and
self–worth brings out a glow of beauty that no outer beauty can compete with. If inner beauty is the

Essay On Beauty And Natural Beauty
The are two types of Cosmetic is excessive use of makeup, many facial products, and surgery to
change your appearance. Another type is cosmetic surgery is only considered when worn tons of
makeup or if surgery has been done. Furthermore, we also have Natural beauty which is the existing
in nature and not made or caused by people without chemical substance, antonym of artificial. When
Cosmetic and Natural beauty are being compared–contrast, it becomes evident that Natural Beauty
takes a winning toll.
Now ladies we all know that buying cosmetics is not cheap. One item of cosmetic will not consume
your whole wallet but the combined of everything from foundation, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow,
lipstick, highlight et cetera can consume a large amount of money. "By one estimate, a women in the
U.S will spend an average of at least $15,000 or more on makeup" (people.com/style/how–much–

taking a glance at a women with no cosmetics on , you can instantly refer that she decided to not
spend money on cosmetics nor probably associate with it, which benefits her even more in her
pocket. Natural beauty wins.
We only have only have twenty–four hours in a day, but we take at least eight hours to sleep and
technically remain with only sixteen hours in a day. Cosmetics is time consuming period. In a

Persuasive Essay On Beauty
The desire to look attractive is universal. As the Medical Journal of Australia recorded, "Both men
and women are becoming increasingly concerned about their physical appearance and are seeking
cosmetic enhancement." (Castle). It is beyond reproach for someone to pursue a more perfect
oneself even though he or she does not suffer any physical disabilities. In the era when there was no
cosmetic surgery
, people could not change their appearance and most of them could do nothing but
live their lives with regrets. Who wouldn't dream of changing from an ugly duckling into a white
swan? For those who do not have confidence in their appearance, they would be influenced by their
appearances throughout their lives. When one learns to distinguish between beauty and ugliness in
childhood, even though they do not pay attention to their appearances, some naughty kids in the
school might use it as an excuse to bully those poor children. After growing up, the lack of
confidence in appearance might affect one's job and even career path in society. People will never be
satisfied with their look, as Castle wrote in the article, "More and more people report being unhappy
with their appearance. In a 1997 US survey, fifty–six percent of women and forty–three percent of
men reported dissatisfaction with their overall appearance. Paralleling this trend, an increasing
number of both men and women are resorting to cosmetic procedures" (Castle). Therefore, changing
looks could enhance one's self–confidence and hence increase the chances of success. Everyone
deserves to look their best.
Cosmetic surgery has gradually become an industry and its prosperity and development can bring
great profits to the country. As this industry begins to grow without control, a lot of plastic surgeons
are brought into the United States due to high annual salaries (Donato). The industry of cosmetic
surgery has created jobs for many people and contributed to the United States' economic
development. With the advancement of science and technology, the risk of plastic surgery conducted
in regular hospitals has been greatly reduced and the success rate has increased considerably
compared with what it used to be (Castle). Plastic surgery is no longer a horrible

Beauty Concept Essay
Emily Coyle English 105 Dr. Skeen 12–5–12 Deadly Beauty Descriptions of beauty are thrown at us
everyday in various and opposing views. While many people stay with the belief that beauty is
internal, society's view of beauty is propelled at us from every angle. Just turn on the television,
open a magazine, or surf the web and you will find yourself bombarded by the idea that being sexy
and being beautiful are synonyms. Critics argue that this view of beauty is causing our women and
even some men to alter their bodies in damaging ways. While I agree that the way today's society
views is damaging and unrealistic, but I also do not believe this is a new occurrence. Throughout
history various societies have caused their subjects to

The brass rings cause their collarbone to cave down and crush the vertebrae in their spines and their
collarbones but the women refuse to take off the rings because it is what their culture views as
beautiful. In American society numerous women and even men go under the knife to achieve the
look they want through plastic surgery. For a substantial fee, one can change the shape of their nose,
increase or decrease breast size, reshape a jawline, or even remove fat from unwanted areas. Less
dramatic alterations are made on a daily bases through applying makeup, waxing away unwanted
hair, and straightening or curling hair. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to live up to the beauty
standards of society. Although I know that all the pictures of beautiful women the media throws at
me are highly photo–shopped, it still hasn't prevented me from trying to achieve the perfect body
and stunning looks that I gaze upon. In ninth grade I became anorexic. As a slightly over weight kid
I became self–conscious about how skinny all the "beautiful" girls were. Even though I witnessed
the ones who had zero personality and others who were downright evil, I felt that personality was
worthless because being beautiful was what really mattered. I read countless articles on how to lose
weight and how many calories each item of food contained. The more weight I would lose, the more

Informative Speech On Beauty
Informative Speech Outline Attention–Getter: Mirror Mirror on the wall, tell me who is the most
beautiful of them all?
Thesis Statement: Beauty is defined in many different ways around the world. Examples of this
include body scars, paleness, and full figures. (Example)
What's in it for the audience: According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, beauty is defined as
qualities in a person that give pleasure to the senses or exalts the mind or spirit. (Merriam Webster
Dictionary) It is important to know not only how beauty is defined in American society, but also in
other cultures.
Credibility: For the past several weeks, I have done intensive research on beauty in three different
cultures including Ethiopia, China, and Mauritania. Along with this, I have interviewed Dr. Sanz, an
anthropologist here at the university.
Preview: Scars, skin color, and body weight all make up who we are, although different cultures
view these characteristics very differently.
Transition: While Americans are concerned with erasing scars, Ethiopian tribes are creating them.
(Smith)
Scarification is a method Ethiopian tribes use to represent themselves and show beauty within their
culture
. (Fact) (Style) According to Ruth Style, a Daily Mail journalist, Ethiopian tribes, such as the
Surma use razor blades and thorns to create scars during a special ceremony. (Example) During the
voluntary ceremony, one must not show pain because pain brings disgrace to the family name.
(Example) (Style)
After the initial cut, scars have organic sap and ash rubbed onto them in order to make them heal as
raised bumps. (Example) (Style)
Scarification is an increasingly risky business, but plays huge role in Ethiopian tribal life. (Fact)
(Style) B. These decorated scars are more than a sign of old injury. Scars represent culture,
adulthood, and belonging. Most of all, the scars on these bodies represent beauty. (Fact) (Style)
Men and women have these scar patterns on their shoulders, chest, face, and entire body. Different
tribes focus on different areas of the body. For example, the Dassanech from Oma River Valley

Essay on Feminine Beauty
Feminine Beauty
When defining Feminine beauty one must decide in which time to define it. At certain times women
have felt repressed by the term, usually due to the beauty business' influence; while at other times
Women have found it liberatory: finding it their bonus as females but not their only power. One will
also find that a correlation exists between the women's movement, or lack there of, and society's
feelings about woman and their aesthetic appearance. A woman's beauty during the 1910s and early
1920's was not an aspect of one's life to be contemplated heavily. Woman pre 19th amendment were
more concerned with gaining recognition of their equality then how they looked. Woman felt beauty

Post World War II1 saw women being oppressed by the beauty industry. Women were subject to
what society determined as beautiful. Exquisite movie stars who were curvy and charming, with
pale skin, frosted hair, and a seemingly grand lifestyle were the ideal.
" Beauty publicists instructed women to inflate their breasts with padding or silicone, to frost their
hair with carcinogenic dyes, to make themselves look paler by whitening their face and lips with
titanium–to emulate in short, that most bleached medicalized glamour girl of them all,
Marilyn Monroe" (Faludi, 204) They were pressured to be beautiful at the sake of their health. This
is what we might call a backlash. The women's movement it should be noted at this time was almost
none existent. Betty Friedan's "Problem That Has No Name" describes what women were feed as
what should be done and how to do it:

Beauty Is Only Skin Deep
"Beauty is only skin deep", let that echo, let it linger in the mind for a second. How does beauty
affect everyday people? To a blind person, beauty is "only skin deep", however, for someone with
functioning vision. It is not just that, beauty to the eyes is the color of the skin, the strategic
placement of fat, and the shape of the human skeleton. The bones do not even have to be human
they could be plastic. To be beautiful is something people crave, better yet to be gorgeous. Oh, to be
gorgeous, it is something not all people want, but most. The natural beauty around the world is so
diverse. In Asia, the woman is short and thin. In Brazil, the woman is brown and curvy with thick
curly hair. In India, some women have tummies, but are mainly build with small curves that suit
their average 5'5 height. There is beauty in this world no matter what. It is unfortunate how beauty
standards in the U.S. are causing constant body manipulation, making it humanly impossible to
reach the media 's image of beauty, along with causing eating disorders.
Women and men alike are not meant to be perfect. They are made to be unique, not adjusted with
modifications and labeled with serial numbers. For example, in a commercial by Dove called
"Evolution", there is a woman, she walks into a dimly lit room and takes a seat. Her name is
unknown and she has a straight face on. Since her name is unknown, let us call her Jane doe. Jane
Doe is a name given to women after they have died and no

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder Essay
The Eye of the Beholder
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." What is beautiful to me may not be beautiful to you. An
idiom that is known by almost every nation and culture. However, what happens when society on a
collective whole, perceive a certain characteristic, or body type as beautiful and desirable. When you
are told day by day what is considered appealing, or that a size zero is the ideal body size for a
woman
. When women are told you would be prettier if...What is left to be said and done when
women don't meet the criteria of the Goddess–like perfection that society decided to shackle them
with. It is a cancerous disease eating away at our sense of self–growth and actualization. It is a
sickness that needs a cure, and we as a society must seek to eradicate it, so that we can grow as a
people.
Before Kim Kardashian or Beyoncé took over the airwaves, women have been objectified by
society, and their male counterparts, not for what's inside of their heads, but what their heads are
attached to. When a young girl looks in the mirror, they are no longer seeing themselves, but the
woman or girl they wished to be or imitate. They are seeing the cover girl model with the long hair,
smooth skin, and the small waist. As Mrs. Steinem wrote, "The power lies not within us but in the
gaze of the observers."(340). No matter how well put together or intelligent a woman is, how many
degrees she has under her name, all that society sees is that she could be a little more pleasing

Reflection Paper On Beauty
In analysis of the interviewee's chosen it is understood that transformative learning, meaning
perspective and perspective transformation all relate to the concept of what is Beauty: The truth of
beauty is often question. The beauty of truth is a guide to how others see Beauty. In analysis of the
theorist, and philosophers mention in the interview, it is a subjective view of what philosophers feel
as beautiful. Jack Mezirow, transformative learning, is a theory about making meaning out of life,
not just about acquiring knowledge, and learning, but giving coherence to our experience"
(Mezirow, 1991). Kant states," that beauty is a subjective experience felt directly within our lives". I
believe beauty is in the eyes of the beholder because what I perceive as beauty, is not what others
might see as beautiful. Beauty to some maybe how we dress individually. Clothes are categorized in
styles such as; contemporary, casual, and retro. I prefer not to wear retro styles, because it doesn't
look beautiful to me, but that is my choice of style. Beauty is one of the most intricate and
fascinating topics of philosophical discussions. Beauty can be categorized in context of relationship,
different subject matters and pleasure. In analysis of the different philosophers, it is understood that
the mention interviewees agree that beauty is what we as humans perceive. Ironically, as humans,
we evolve through our lifetimes and society evolved through transformative learning. "Beauty",

Descriptive Essay About Beauty
I think our minds are obsessed with beauty. We envy those we cannot be. We strive to have this
picture perfect life, or something close to it. When I was younger, I was never out going or the kid
that talked all the time. That just wasn't me. I never thought of myself as beautiful. I thought I was
pretty, but in my mind
, to be truly beautiful, one must possess other characteristics beyond the
physical realm. To be exquisite, perfectly, and wholeheartedly beautiful, one must be: independent,
self–confident, and happy. I didn't see this in myself at the time, but how could I? I was still in
elementary school. There is one woman, however, who I considered being one of the most beautiful
beings. She is partially the reason I am the person I am

I hated shopping. But this lady with her textured turtleneck always mesmerized me with how
powerfully she presented herself. She was always so polished and prim. I never remember a Sunday
where she looked like the overworked mother, or the stress ridden woman trying to keep her life
together. No, she was quite the opposite. She was in complete control of her life.
Years passed by, I no longer saw any of her kids. Her husband, who was quite obviously older than
her, began to deteriorate. He had surgery that left him unable to walk without assistance. She was
always there, guiding him, smiling at him, helping him into the car. She maintained the same calm,
loving style towards him, before and after. At this point, I was quite a bit older. I understood death. I
could tell just by looking at him, that his time was coming to an end; anyone could. But she paid no
attention to that. She appeared older than before. Not in sense that she was dying, but she seemed
like she had accomplished whatever she wanted in life. She seemed serene, they both did. It was in
those last few months they had together that I saw a couple truly in love. They were happy. I've
never seen anything like that before. I don't think that people genuinely understand their feelings for
a person until they've lived without him or her or they know that that time is coming. She never
once showed any sadness or sorrow. She remained as caring and as gentle as ever.
He did eventually pass. She

The power of beauty and its effects
Beauty always has been a center of instinctive attention. It fascinates and paralyzes the power of
thinking. After all, beauty is the cause of disputes and propagation of love. For instance, men look at
beauty before anything else. Jacob and Whilhelm Grimm's "Little Snow–White" gives us a better
look on the idea of both beauty power and competition. For example, the queen becomes jealous of
Snow–White's beauty and orders her huntsman to kill her but because she is so beautiful the
huntsman let her live. This demonstrates how women are competing with each other when it comes
to their beauty and how even the toughest men become weak due to a woman
's beauty. In the tale
'Sun, Moon, and Talia' by Giambattista Basile
, the king goes out to hunt and comes across an
inhabited palace. In that palace, he finds Talia sleeping due to an enchanted spell. He finds her
beauty dazzling enough that he decides to rape and impregnate her. This shows how a woman's
beauty clogs a man's conscience and causes a lack of moral codes. Talia gives birth to two children
and the queen finds out. Envy gets the best of the queen and she orders the chef to cook the children.
She could not bear another woman being in her husband's life. Men become weak when it comes to
women and they do not usually care about the consequences of their actions.
Female characters are a vital part of traditional literature.

Real Girls, Real Pressure: A National Report
The ideal of what beauty really is changes in our society from time to time. Everyone has their own
opinion of what is beautiful. However the opinion that people mostly tend and heed to is that of the
prominent and influential characters in today's society. Those who claim to know what true beauty is
and impel humanity to do and be what they want, as if people were their puppets. Television,
magazines, and advertisements play an immense role in this. Playing with emotions and ridiculing
those 'not beautiful' by pointing out the ideal facial structures or body types that one must have in
order to be beautiful. Features of which can only be obtained by expensive, dangerous, and
addicting procedures in an outpatient facility. Then some of the

The author states "studies have shown that beautiful people have an easier time in life." Alyssa
created a relationship of consciousness with her reader, attempting to make the reader realize that
surgery isn't the answer to looking better and that they could regret the procedure the rest of their
lives or become addicted to surgery. No one in this world can look exactly like what they see on
magazines because what their eyes are seeing is spurious.
In a commission the Dove Self–Esteem Fund, conducted an online survey and presented their
findings in, "Real Girls, Real Pressure: A National Report on the State of Self–Esteem crisis in the
United States (2008), suggested that there is a self–esteem crisis in the United States about girl's
looks. The survey revealed "seven out of ten girls believe that they are not pretty enough." The
beauty that is portrayed today is causing young girls to feel ugly and insecure about themselves.
However they have yet to realize that all girls are pretty in their own way. The study also shows that
"girls with low self–esteem are significantly more likely to engage in negative behaviors.|" Girls feel
they don't fit in because they are not good looking so they engage in dangerous and bad behaviors in
order to feel good about themselves. Drinking or drugs may be what they chose to do in order to feel
like they fit in. Teens also admit to starving themselves because they believe they are fat. Many
teens today suffer

What is Beauty? Essay
What is beauty? People have always attempted to find, create, and pursue it. A quick checkout at the
grocery store will reveal a plethora of magazines devoted purely to what they call beauty and the
proper pursuit of it. Most have an idea of what they might personally define as beauty, but not as a
general, sweeping definition. That which one might label ugly another might call absolutely
stunning. Some find beauty in cats, others in dogs, just as some favor early morning mountain
ranges over a sun setting over the plains. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is the favorite adage
quoted by many to explain for this discrepancy, but what does that quickly–spat out phrase even
mean? In reality, while the adage is partially true, beauty is

Altogether, the adage asserts that beauty is purely reliant on one's own personal preference and
perceptions of it. In other words, beauty is relative. Therefore, even if I find rather repulsive what
you call beautiful, our differences in opinion are both justified and simultaneously true, even if
either side disagrees with that fact. This concept explains much in our past and current culture today.
The arguments between countless teenagers and parents regarding choice of music and its proper
volume make sense – both are right, just with different perceptions of what each would call
beautiful, or pleasurable. America as a whole in the past century is a prime example of this. After
World War I, the image of the flapper – women with short skirts, short hair, and skinny bodies –
became beautiful, followed by the famous image of a pale Marilyn Monroe standing on an air vent,
skirt blowing upwards. In America today many would identify beauty as Megan Fox's tanned and
thin hourglass shape, while in Africa a tribesman would find a far larger woman with nose rings
attractive. Chinese women still inflict tortuous pains on themselves with the practice of foot binding
in pursuit of beauty. Obviously, beauty varies and morphs into whatever ideal the culture sets for it.
Technological advancements such as Photoshop allow photographers to further exaggerate the
bodies of women, cumulating in the creation of the

The Connotation Of Beauty
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Cliche but true. Beauty corporations, the media, and
influential figures are the beholders. The beauty industry profits off the inadequacy of women and
perpetuates unattainable beauty. In recent years, there has been a surge in plastic surgery,
popularized by the Kardashian Decade (2007–2017) and other contributors. The perpetuation of
these unrealistic ideals have serious implications on women of color, especially black women who
deviate the most from European beauty standards. According to the Oxford English Dictionary,
beauty is defined as " such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the
sight" (OED). Since the beginning of time, the connotation of beauty has changed drastically. In the
Renaissance era (14th–16th century), ideal beautiful women were voluptuous; curvaceous beyond
today's standards. These curvaceous bodies were the peak of sexiness. In Hollywood's Golden Age
(1930–1950's), women showed more skin, more skin"dress to allure." Hair was feminine, makeup
less drag, and pale skin was passé. This idea of beauty deeply contradicts the heroin chic look of the
nineties. The coveted look featured an emaciated and androgynous look popularized by model icon
Kate Moss. A startling contrast to the healthy and youthful look that Cindy Crawford is synonymous
for. Oddly enough, the famous environmentally friendly slogan–reduce, reuse, recycle– applies here.
Reduce. These corporations reduce women to a

The Sun : The Beauty Of The Sun
People almost every day wake up to the sun revealing the many things on earth. Nobody really stops
and thinks how important the sun is to all. People can lose its place now and then. The sun is always
on the move and never has time to stop. It is a thing of beauty and a frightful thought.
The environment feels nice at times when the sun is out. It brings warmth inside each person from
the body's core to each fingertip. When the earth changes in distance and position from the sun it
appears it might have emotions. When the earth is close to the sun, it appears happy to be out and it
shines more than the brightest of stars and can be distant when appeared to be frightened or upset.
When the sun is close to the earth, everything becomes

Layers and layers of wool, cloth, and linen are surrounding the people's body till all that can be seen
is the person's eyes. There is more to be said about what winter brings but never enough time.
Before people can fully enjoy winter, the earth changes position. Spring then emerges from the cold
snow and ice.
Transitioning to the next season
, the earth is progressing closer to the sun. The sun's force is mighty
and its touch is so tender, soft and warm. While this continues, the sun starts to bring many smells,
tastes, and sounds most good and delightful and others that are unpleasant. But it can depend on
how much the sun wants to show itself.
There is a different atmosphere and the sun is now shining on the earth. Smells are created and can
vary from a field of flowers to pollen and other fragrances from organisms. Then the smells
intensify slowly with each passing day. Life fills the air, forcing people's nostrils to flare and
occasionally sneeze. People with allergies hide discomfort and dread from the pollen. But people are
more willing to go outside to see the sun bright and hopeful. The sun shines on the people who are
sometimes running and jumping. Children are at play in the streets, on colorful, big playgrounds
with twists of wood and metal. The winds move on the earth and can become so mighty that, one
feels as though they could fly. At perfect timing, people can see the white, pink and other colored
