3 Adjectives To Describe Yourself
List three adjectives that describe how you see yourself. Give examples to explain why you chose
these adjectives. Three adjectives that I would use to describe myself are thoughtful, passionate, and
strong–willed. I chose thoughtful because I think that when I am in a situation, I am not passing
through it, onto the next thing without thinking. I am, in many cases, critically thinking and
analyzing what is happening around me. I am often very critical, which can be beneficial, but in
most cases, somewhat hinders me. However, I believe that in a situation, I process what is occurring
around me and contemplate and analyze. For example, on a family trip to Sicily, we attended many
local churches, some of the most beautiful I have ever seen,

Descriptive Essay About Myself
I was walking home from school, on a bright, sunny day in late September when it happened. I
hadn't walked home from school in a long time. Today, I stayed late for a volleyball practice. I told
my parents that I knew the way, that I could get home by myself. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I had
a great life. I was always happy, and for good reason. Teachers regularly described me as "bubbly,
energetic, and cheerful," as it was hard to find me without a smile on my face. I had straight A's, was
semi–athletic, and lived in a neighborhood where almost everyone was well–to–do, with both my
parents being successful lawyers. I had every luxury imaginable for a sixteen year old girl. The
nicest clothes and gadgets. I also had some amazing friends, who always had my back when I was in
need. Ember, Blaise, and Liana. Kind of unusual names, I know, but apparently, that is what the rich,
white, and famous do with their kids nowadays. Give them strange names, so nobody will mistake
them for anyone else. I figured this out because every kid in my class had a name like this, except
me. My name is Emily. Emily Austen to be exact. I only fit two of the above guidelines for those
with strange names. My dark brown skin was a stark contrast to the skin tone majority of my private
school had. Although America is a free country, it's still can be hard for people of colour to rise to
the top. I have tightly curled black hair, which was extraordinarily poofy. Because of the poof factor,

Characteristics Of Myself Essay
I was born fourteen years ago and I have acquired many qualities in those fourteen years. One is I
like to see myself as a very relatable person who many people can talk to. Many of my friends tell
me that I am very relatable and a very honest person who says their honest opinion, which I can only
agree with. Another word I hear a lot from my friends is that I am a chill, also known as relaxed or
easy going. Listening to my friends is another good quality I believe I have. I can always sense
when something isn't right. I believe I am also fairly good at judging people's character, so I think in
some way that saves me from hanging out with bad people and also knowing which ones are the
good ones. Adapting is another thing I am good at because of the many times I have moved. That
also helps me get good at making friends all kinds of places, even in different countries. I get told a
lot that I have a lot of friends and honestly I'm not totally sure how I have become friends with so
many people. But I am not complaining. Most of my friends also say I am trustworthy and cool.
Another thing I get told a lot is that I am hilarious. I mean I can just say the simplest things and my
friends will laugh. All of these qualities are qualities that I like about myself but I also feel that
many of my friends have the same traits. I like to hangout around people who remind me of myself.
Most of my friends are funny and kind. They are all trustworthy and of course very cool. My friends

Describe Yourself As A Writer
When I was young, I always knew that college is important to the major that you choose. When I see
my aunt, I ask many questions about college and how it is like. I thought it would be challenging
and stressful. Then it was stressful because I want to improve my writing. When I see myself as a
writer, I think about the process, then I consider the improvements I need to make, and lastly the
strengths I have.
First, I think about the writing process. When the teacher or professor give me an essay
, I start right
away. I start right away because I don't want my work to be late and I have other assignment to do
for other classes. Once I read the prompt, I start my outline to know what to write in my essay. I just
think about what I know and don't know, then put it onto paper
. For the outline, I will do sentences
or sometimes words only. It depends on the topic or essay I write. I find the outline is a helpful way
to get started.
After the outline, I start researching the topic. I use the internet for the research. I use it because it is
helpful. It is helpful because I take examples of how to start. I use google and look at images of
essays. It provides inspiration for the essay.

Personal Self Assessment Essay
Self assessment is a process in which you examine yourself in attempt to discover and learn more
about yourself. Your likes, dislikes, behaviors, attitudes and habits can be found during this process.
You can use the discoveries to your advantage by accepting or changing strengths and weaknesses. I
plan on using this course to enhance my personal skills to become a better student and find success
in earning my Bachelor of Arts degree at Ashford University in Social Science. Self Assessment is
the first step in my successful future.
I can remember in high school, it seemed like I was always one of the last students finished with a
test.
I was sometimes slower at completing a written paper or an assignment. In open discussions

I have discovered some interesting things I have noticed in myself before taking this course. For
example, my learning style I have noticed is the visual learning style.
With this, I prefer to see and read information to full gain comprehension. If I forget the data, or not
clearly understand it the first time read, I have the option of reading it over. I do not always trust
myself to absorb all information the first time around. I take a lot of notes to look at. Notes help me
remember even though I may not read the again, I can refer to them in my mind after writing them
down. I am not sure if just anyone reading them would get anything out of it, but at least I know
what they mean.
I like to take my time with material, but am not always given the allotted time to do so. I also like to
keep a written list of things to do to refer to. I am comfortable with my learning style, accepted it as
my very own. I am not sure if changing it this late in life is such a good idea. I have got by this far, it
must work out for me.
I have identified my personality style as being extroverted, one who becomes easily energized by
others, and outwardly expressing thoughts as long as I am fully understanding context and material
being discussed. If I have no idea what is being addressed, I am better of keeping quiet to save

My Self As A Learner Essay
MY SELF AS A LEARNER
Kyle R. Pace
Bellevue University
Abstract
The importance of knowing yourself as a learner is to know your strengths and areas you can
improve. After taking the MBTI assessment, I found out that I am an ISFJ personality. ISFJ
personality stands for Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging. I always thought I was a tactile
learner, however after taking the (What 's Your Learning Style? 20 Questions) assessment, I found
out that I am a visual learner. It's also good to know the location in which you focus the best, to
retain all the information you learn to the best of your capability. . Upon completing the Study
Environment Analysis, I found that the perfect study environment for me is in my kitchen at the
table, because this area is neat, clean and has the least distractions. All of these assessments have
been very informational for me in both my personal and professional life. This is going to better me
as a student by providing me the best learning experience possible for my degree and for any
courses that I take for my career. I can incorporate these skills in my professional life and this will
be able to provide more for my employees than I have been able to do before. Myers–Briggs Type
Indicator
According to the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator, I am an ISFJ which stands for Introverted, Sensing,

Describe Myself As A Student
Describe yourself as a student and also your aspirations for the future. Please include examples from
your personal academic and non–academic experiences.
A sophomore at Downtown Magnets High School, I demonstrate passion in my education, ambition
in fulfilling my personal and academic goals, and am an explorative student. My passion for
learning is the result of my mindset, in that aside from finding education a necessity, it is enjoyable,
challenging, and beneficial in fulfilling my future aspirations. For example, I find my Honors
Advanced Mathematics class my most unique course. It builds upon my ability to critically think,
present data or information, and understand higher–level math at a rapid pace. In particular, it is the
ability to solve real–world situations and the underlying mystery mathematicians have yet to solve
that intrigues me to continue learning. The class expects much of me, but I am aware that it is
preparing me for college– and university–level math while providing me with the skills to pursue a
career in Architectural/ Structural Engineering
. Ambitious, I set objectives for myself and arrange to
accomplish and excel in the process. For instance, I participated in my middle school's academic
decathlon with a chance to represent my school in the mathematics single–subject exam. In doing
so, I attempted to score a near perfect to perfect score. While the competition did not end the way I
expected, I successfully gained a flawless score on the questions

Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional
success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can
sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a
professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success:
namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways.
Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are
the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to
resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few
people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and
find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I
get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–
tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my ambitions
through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last
few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the
hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one is in
technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of
day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has
created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend time, living outside my country
of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but
also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing
levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my eagerness for new challenges. It has
instigated a feeling in me that there

Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities
My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and
qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is
beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned
that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my
collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest
totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask
and test tubes. I also

I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person
, because I love to help people
and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness"
in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind,
a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it
and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even
me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I
already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from my learning
styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last
year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The
results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I
found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am
mostly artistic,

Describe Myself In Social Work
1) Please briefly describe yourself in terms of the bio–psycho–social domains that characterize who
you are. A way to describe myself in terms of the bio–psycho–social domains that characterize who
I am is that some personal qualities that equip me for the social work profession is that I am very
responsible, compassionate, I have good judgment, I am very determined, and I can be very flexible
when it comes to adapting to change. I believe that I am very responsible when it comes to
conducting myself ethically and allowing clients to gain trust in within me which comes along with
confidentiality issues as well as being a role model by showing that I am accountable for all of my
duties as a social worker. Showing compassion is a quality in which I always show with not only
clients but also my peers. Understanding the needs of people and their concerns shows that I am able
to make the right choices for clients. Taking my time with people and listening always helps me
know a person better as well as understand what they are going through and what I am able to do to
help. Making good judgement is not something that I only do in the work force but also in my
everyday life. Gathering information and learning everything that I possibly can from it is what's
most important to me. Figuring out all the intimate pros and cons of my choices and imagining what
all of the possible consequences may be rather its good or bad. I make sure that the best possible
outcome is always

Essay On What You Know About Yourself
What You Know About Yourself
Some students have an identity, an interest, or talent that defines them in an essential way. If you are
one of these students, then tell us about yourself.
Growing up I was a kid that loved to try out all kinds of things ( and still do ), that I knew nothing
about, though some people thought I was wired because of it. Such as wanting to play field sports,
art, skating, ice skating, hockey at one point, music, and the list goes on because the more I learn
about these activities I never knew about, the more I wanted to try and see if I have a talent for it or
not. Though my siblings would make fun of me saying that my only talent was reading, sleeping,
and being weird, but I eventually provide them wrong when I

I was never fond of it to begin with. Yet, with the other sports I was actually pretty good at them, but
not that good with softball, I got so nervous one game because of the preacher I fealty all around
me, making me freeze in place, causing the whole team to lose the game and me not playing in
anymore games because of that one time misshapen. But what was most important to me was the
fact that I got to be in Orchestra the type of music I wanted do since elementary school has finally
came to me,and on that day I became the happiest girl there in that classroom full of beautiful string
instruments. The teacher who teaches for that class was named miss Powers and she was a awesome

Three Words To Describe Me
The three words I would use to describe myself are; sincere, compassionate, and dedicated. Each
word describes me in every part of my life; by myself, at school, and in public. I would describe
myself as sincere because I am true to myself. I am easygoing, calm and enjoy talking and meeting
with new people. In other words, I'm not shy. The second word that best describes me is
compassionate because I recognize the care I have for others. I came to this realization when I
looked at what gave me true happiness and satisfaction, and noticed that it was when I helped people
in need, I attained and was filled with genuine happiness. Thirdly, the word that describes me best is
dedicated. I dedicate myself to my education, my personal relationships,

Essay About Myself
There are three very important aspects that play a major rule in my life. They can be categorized as
intellectual, social, and spiritual. My intellectual self is interesting because I am mainly right–
brained which means that I tend to use my creativity more than my mathematical skills, also making
me a visual learner. My social self consists of friends, family, and my surroundings. I spend most of
my time at home with my family. Whenever I am with my friends, I observe their behaviors and
listen to their opinions. I am more of an independent type of person. Being with different people has
influenced me into appreciating different cultures and beliefs. I have learned things that have now
been incorporated into my own set of beliefs and

I find that I can only recall long–term memories if they are important to me, or if they are dramatic
experiences. A few examples of my childhood memories are my mother reading to me, my
grandfather playing his guitar, and my dad relentlessly teaching me how to ice skate, no matter how
many times I fell. The people who affect my social life the most are my family and friends. I have
an extremely close family that has played a major role in my life. They are whom I spend most of
my spare time with. My family usually gathers every weekend for dinner. I am also very open to
different religions, cultures, and practices because I know many people with different backgrounds
and beliefs. Since I've been influenced by various people, I've learned at a very young age to never
judge people by how they look, dress, feel, or act. I am very fortunate to have learned these lessons,
because many people still do not understand the importance of accepting differences. In a group, I
prefer to listen to what others have to say, and then contribute to the discussion. I try to listen so I
am able to compare them to my own thoughts. I enjoy working in a group, because it gives everyone
an opportunity to incorporate their own ideas. My social self is most greatly influenced by my
family and friends. I believe that my spiritual self is the most important out of the three. Although I
have a certain religion that I belong to and practice, I believe in a bit of

The Best Possible Version Of Myself Essay
I 'm not perfect, but I 'm becoming the best possible version of myself. At first I was very ashamed
of myself, for multiple reasons, but mainly because I haven't graduated college, that I had fallen
behind my peers. However, I have nothing to be embarrassed about. Everyone's path is different. I
was a "know it all," I thought I had everything figured out, but I was wrong. Failure was something I
had never experienced until I was completely on my own. Honestly, when I got to college I wanted
to be a teacher, then I realized the world was a fucked–up place and I needed to do more. I switched
my major to political science. I was happy with the switch, but then I notice something was wrong
with me, it wasn't just the world. I always felt different, the way I process emotions and interact with
people was a little abnormal. This became more apparent when I entered college.
In 2014, I was officially diagnosed with Bi–polar Disorder. I thought "you know what I have this
mental illness, I can't live life. I was scared and confused. I pushed my boyfriend, friends, and
mother away. The only thing I had left were my negative thoughts and countless bottles of alcohol
that made going to sleep a little easier. There was a point of time where I was so overwhelmed with
anxiety that I feared leaving my bedroom. I wanted to take my life and tried several times. The
saddest part of it all was I never really wanted to kill myself, I just thought it was my only
opposition to escape the pain. I

I Must Describe My Attitude And Behavior
The way that I would describe my attitude and behavior when relating with people is alright in my
opinion I believe that I do not come off as being rude, as being caring, and sincere. The way that I
would describe myself in stressful situations is that I tend to panic right away instead of stopping
and thinking what should I do to resolve this problem. Instead of panicking and stressing out right
away maybe I should ask the other person what I should do or what they would do. Non– Verbal
Behavior : I would describe the messages that my nonverbal behavior send is that I act very
approachable to others, people always tell me that I am always happy and smiling, and that
whenever people see me I am always smiling. Listening skills: The way that I would describe
myself when listening to others is first I let them speak to get their whole point across. I sometimes
interrupt, and I also ask questions, as well as pay close attention to what the person is saying but I
also tend to dose off somewhere else, and I do get easily distracted by noises, or other conversations.
I sometimes tend to connect to my own experiences but, often take the focus off the other person
and go on and on. I would describe myself as being warm to people, but young people my age find
me less approachable, because of my lack of confidence. But older people children find me very
approachable, kind, and warm that is because I am more confident with that age group. Some people
have told me that my face

I find it extremely tough to talk about myself and my personal traits. In order for me to dIscuss who
I am in an accurate manner then I must provide some basic background information on myself and
talk about the Environment I grew up in. This way people can get a better understanding of why I
am the way I am. My Background is so essential In making me myself because If I had been born
under any different circumstances or grew up any differently I would be a different person than I am
today. I was born in Aberdeen Scotland but raised in Fort Bend County Texas. Aberdeen and Fort

also opened my mind to new ideas. For example, in school when we work in group projects we
collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work together to figure
out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them.
Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic
circumstances. I have always had access to anything I needed and for that I have extreme gratitude
because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a family with such
good economic circumstances I have been lucky to have lots of opportunities. One Opportunity I
had as a child was participating in taekwondo. I did taekwondo until I reached a blackbelt which
took years of hardwork and dedication. I had to memorize forms, Spar with other competitors and
break boards in order to continue to move up to the next level. Taekwondo also helped keep me in
good shape and fit when I was younger. Another Opportunity I am grateful for is the skill of playing
the piano. At first I was not all that enthusiastic about playing it but my parents has signed me up

Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I
should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm
a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get

I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really

taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try
as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than
psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying
that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the
article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
, Briggs conducts different forms of
psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents
differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations
on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret
them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different
approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality
makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. Journal of Social Work

Defining Myself Essay
Sometimes a person may feel that they have no purpose in life. Finding out who you are just takes
the time of sitting down and thinking of the importance in your life. Who am I? I am Mercedes
Kimberly Kingston, and I am a person with different personalities, characteristics, and identities.
The many ways, in which I identify myself, in fact, are the ways that define who I am. My Identity
is something only I can fully define. I have a little brother, which makes me a sister; I have two
loving parents, which makes me a daughter; I am in college studying medicine, which makes me a
student; and I have wonderful friends in desperate need of support, which makes me a wonderful
best friend. Before anything, I am a big sister to

It is seen as an essential part of learning and using what you learn in class. But when you get loads
of class work and have very little time to finish it, then it becomes an unnecessary burden. Yet,
sometimes, for me, it is the fact that I procrastinate that prevents me from completing a task. For
college student, like myself who is working to pay for college, large amounts of class work usually
brings lots of stress and fear of not being able to get good grades in many of my classes. Yet, I have
support from my family, friends, and some peers who encourage me to put up a good fight in
reaching my goal. I am a student that has gone through so much to get here, where I am. There were
times that I had strong feelings that I would never be in college, just because of the negative energy
I forced upon myself. Since pre–K, I have had this problem that if I can't do something I just give
up, and stop trying. I still have this problem, but I have learned to get a control on it. The biggest
problem was graduating from high school
. I never thought that I would ever graduate. But I knew, as
a student, I should at least try and show my teachers that I am putting effort. And now, I'm in
college, studying pre–med, and hoping to become either a pediatrician, or a NFL Doctor. Growing
up as a daughter to a single mom, was, I think, the best experience ever. I was, and am still, very
spoiled. I always had everything that I ever wanted. And
