Delta Signal should invest in research and development (R&D) to create better innovation in its products. Rachel stated, “I don’t want to be left behind when the economy recovers”, which implies that there is a need for innovation looking into the future. In addition, it states their traditional expertise is R&D and by sticking to it they can grab the luxury OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) that could be available in the market in the U.S. and Europe if competitors rush to the low-cost market in Asia. It is essential that along with accentuating its luxury product, the brand focuses on improving its image so that consumers can begin to recognize Delta Signal for its pivot toward the high-quality OEM’s.
