IT 510 Module Five Homework 2 1. List possible objects in the new bike shop system, including their attributes and methods. Possible objects from the campus bikes case study would include Mark, myself, and Campus Bikes. Mark’s attributes would be owner, fair and reasonable, and does everything he can to keep customers happy. Methods would be to install an up-to-date computer system, hire an IT consultant, and learn what he knows through his father. According to the case, my attributes would include working as a college lab assistant, earning a computer science degree at a two year school and deciding to work towards my four year degree. A bit of a stretch, but methods would be to buy a bike from Mark, troubleshoot IT issues, and plan a system for Campus bikes. Campus bike’s attributes: Popular bike shop located near a major college that has an auto service department and service department. The methods would include: sales orders are recorded on pre-printed forms, service requests are up just like in an auto department. Also a section of the staff assembles the bikes in the store. 2. Identify at least three possible use cases and actors. From what I gathered from the textbook, the possible use cases will be planning the system with Mark, Jill and myself being actors. Another case could be the assembly of the bikes with part time service helpers doing the work as actors. Jill referring Mark to me as a consultant could also be considered as a use case.
