When children get more involved with modern technology their use has negative effects on their health. Even with some of the newer devices like smartphones and tablets can put their health at risk. It’s been shown that kids who use these devices the wrong way are open to health problems like obesity, poor sleep, and development problems. Studies recommend monitoring the content and time spent on technology to prevent this from happening. Step 3: Write your claim and your counterclaim. Claim Write your claim in one sentence. The use of technology effects kids by degrading social skills and sleep. Counterclaim Write your counterclaim in one sentence. Although technology may have it’s negative effects it helps kids who are physically unable to attend school. Step 4: Write your introduction. It should include a hook, a bridge, and a claim. Do you have an engaging hook? Does your bridge include the topic, the counterclaim, and a potential problem with the counterclaim? Did you combine the counterclaim and the claim in one sentence? Introduction Technology will find a way in your life whether it’s for education or not.
