1 SCS 1860 FPM: Assignment 6 - Individual Reflection Paper Overview Teamwork, leadership, and communications are important aspects of a successful project team. This individual assignment is a critical reflection on your own lessons learned from working in a group to complete your selected project’s plan. You should be able to identify what went well, what went wrong, and what could be improved from your experience. From this group experience, you should understand what helps to make a project team successful. Collaboration and soft skills are valued by employers, and this assignment is designed to help you identify and articulate the skills required in these areas. Lessons Learned Utilizing the project and team concepts reviewed throughout the course, this assignment should describe and include: Team Development: o What stage of team formation did your group obtain? Why? o How were issues and conflicts addressed? What role does conflict play in team performance? o What was your role(s) in the group? Lessons Learned: o What would you do differently on a project the next time? o Has your view of project team success changed as a result of this experience and if so, how? Reflection: o What lessons from the course project concepts will you use in your professional life? Submission Requirements Assignment 6 should be approximately 1 to 2 pages plus a cover sheet and is due at the end of Module 12 of the course. Submit your assignment in Quercus before midnight on the day of the due date Submit your assignment as one file as a PDF or Microsoft Word Doc One mark will be assigned to you, and this assignment is worth 10% towards your final mark.
