Once you have read the information, you must complete your responses to questions 1 – 7 in the spaces provided. Please ensure you takes note of the volume of response requirement where indicated. Scenario: This scenario is based on the simulated organisation Indigo Community Services and Health Hub. Grahame is in his mid-forties and has been an intermittent user of the services offered at INDIGO Community Services and Health Hib. Grahame has been separated from his wife and two children for five years, he has sporadic contact with his children. A contributing factor to the breakdown of his marriage were the hours Grahame worked, and the impact of Grahame’s “mood” swings on the family. Until three years ago Grahame was a manager at an executive level and was able to provide for himself and his family. Issues started to occur when Grahame experienced a “psychotic” episode had a six-week admission to a psychiatric hospital. Grahame is reluctant to maintain the drug regime his psychiatrist prescribed and has had several other admissions in the last three years. Grahame has been unemployed since the first admission has been on the new start allowance where he is required to actively seek employment. Grahame’s financial situation has deteriorated, and six months ago he was declared bankrupt and began renting a caravan in the local caravan park. Today Grahame arrived at the weekly BBQ provided by INDIGO, visibly distressed. Grahame tells you that the caravan park has been bought by developers, and all the residents have been given six weeks to vacate. Grahame says he hasn’t been able to find other accommodation due to his debt situation, and the community housing list he is on looks like at least five years before he would be offered a place . Grahame states “it’s no use, there is nothing in my life, and now I don’t even have a ‘poxy’ van to live in.”) Document title: CHCSOH013_ AE_CS Page 5 of 11 Resource ID: PRJ0059587 _ CHCSOH013 _AE_CS
