Assessment Summary Quizzes (minimum 6) 15% Test 25% Labs (minimum 20) 20% Projects (minimum 2) 30% Management of budget allotment* 10% Course Policies 1. Achieve a weighted average of 50% or better on the overall course 2. Achieve a weighted average of 50% or better on the labs
3. Achieve a weighted average of 50% or better on the projects 4. Must satisfactorily complete all labs and projects Management of budget allotment evaluation Students that complete all labs and practical assignments within the given credit will receive full marks for the evaluation. Any labs or assignments not completed will be given a grade of 0 and the course promotion policy will be in effect. Late Submission Policy Late submissions receive a penalty of 10% per day for a maximum of 3 days. After the 3rd day, a grade of 0 is awarded. o Example: A lab is due March 20. The lab was submitted on March 21. The student earned an original mark of 10/15. Since the lab was submitted 1 day late, the student earns a mark of 8.5/15 (10% penalty). o Example: A lab is due March 20. The lab was submitted on March 24. The student earned an original mark of 10/15. Since the lab was submitted over 3 days late, the student earns a mark of 0 (maximum 3 days late). Assessments submitted after the end of semester will not be graded and a grade of 0 is awarded. In the event a student requires additional time to work on the assessment, the student must contact the professor prior to the due date to discuss submission options otherwise the late submission policy will apply.
