I got introduced to coding in my freshmen year of college when I took a computer science course and there, I learned how write my first code in python (OOP language). It was a code which we had to write to control this robot called pico-bot and which felt like a magic to me as it was following orders from the codes that I wrote. Coding is interactive, creativity and uses critical thinking and that is why I think that coding should be taught in every school. With coding youths will gain critical thinking, can bring their ideas to life as there is creative aspect to it, they do have to go to college as they can only learn how to code and get a high paying jobs, and be able to understand the technology behind everyday gadgets that they use. Lack of programming knowledge can have impacts on businesses such as businesses that have no people that code must hire third party to make them a website which can put the security in jeopardy and will cost lot more money. It will also slow businesses from creating new ideas such as they have will have to go through third party again to upload any new deals or just to upgrade the website. Knowing how to code when we started the small business that we run would have been beneficial as we would not have to go through the third party to create the website which would have saved money and time. We could have designed the website however we liked without worrying about the cost and we would have emphasized on creating a strong security from cyberthreats.
