Impulse- It refers to a sudden and strong desire to act.
Woebot- The name Woebot is likely meant to combine the word “robot” and the word “Woe” which means sadness or happiness
Doomscrolling- It is a new term that refers to the practise of constantly scrolling through one’s social media feeds in search of “big” or “shocking” news.
Corny dad jokes- This means to describe a kind of joke that is old-fashioned, predictable, and not very funny.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a common kind of “talk therapy” that attempts to help patients become more aware of and comfortable with their own thoughts and feelings.
Fallible- It describes as capable of making mistakes.
Perfectionistic- It describes someone or something as acting in a way that refuses to accept my result that is less than perfect.
Polarising debates- It refers to debates that steer people towards one of two opposite positions on the topic, usually in a way that leads to angry arguments rather than meaningful conversation.
