It's A Surprise An LOL Surprise Doll That Is! The unboxed toyline was launched late 2016 by MGA Entertainment. Who knew at this time how popular this one toyline would become. Adults and children flooded YouTube with video uploads of unboxing the new toy everyone was raving about with the anticipation of what could possibly be inside each unique LOL Surprise!

The Power Of Persuasion: Attitude After seeing numerous commercials of LOL Surprise Dolls children are intrigued and excited and are led to search for video content on YouTube. There they find an unimaginable number of videos uploaded by adults and children some are set up like a short cartoon while others just advertise the several types of Dolls available for purchase and unboxing them to find out what is inside of each. This subtle yet enduring action has a positive effect on how the child perceives this line of toys and leaves them wanting one or all of them for themself. The advertisements are aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 14 with a simple clear message that keeps the viewer focused and does not over stimulate. Because this line has various components found inside such as sweat treats, slim, nail art, dolls, doll accessories etc... The style and type of product is what attracts people from children to adolescents to engage and want to purchase.

Summary What I have learned from my observations is not only does the LOL Surprise toy line market their product to children but also to teens as consumers. Prior to my observations of this brand, I thought young children were the target audience but to my surprise they were not. The advertisement for the LOL Surprise brand ranges from commercials to YouTube videos uploaded by adults and children, some videos are simply tutorials, while others are short cartoons and character reenactment. These videos have a way of keeping the viewer engaged. The way the products are advertised and aimed at different likes, interests and genres of kids ranging from the age of 4 to 14 and the way this marketing ploy is designed will keep MGA Entertainment in business for a long time.
