Activity 1:  Art Workshop Brief description:  The art workshop is a creative session where participants engage in self-expression through art. Using various tools and techniques available based off their preferences and adaptability.  Purpose of activity:  The purpose of the art workshop is to promote a healthy wellbeing, whilst catering to all abilities and levels of art. This will allow all participants to engage at their own comfort level and express themselves in a safe environment.  Human and physical resources required:  Human - Facilitator with preferably a background in art or art therapy to assist participants.  Physical - Art supplies (paint, clay, pencils, paper, canvas etc) and a comfortable environment.  Budget and resources:  Budget $100 for art supplies, facilitator, space etc.  Aims and objectives: Fostering self-expression, creating a positive and safe environment, providing an opportunity for social interactions Participant involvement: Seek participants preferred materials before hand ensuring that there is a wide variety and that the workshop aligns with their abilities and interests.  Adaptation: Offer simple instructions, an aide for support, adjust the pace of the lesson etc.   Communication:  Questioning: Use open ended questions to understand the participant preference and understanding.  Non verbal comms: Pay attending to ques or use que cards to assist communications.  Responding: use positive communication and rewarding and acknowledging participants

Board Games – Activity Two Brief description:  The board games are a creative session where participants engage in competition through board games. Using various tools and techniques available based off their preferences and adaptability.  Purpose of activity:  The purpose of the board game art workshop is to promote a healthy wellbeing, whilst catering to all abilities and levels of art. This will allow all participants to engage at their own comfort level and express themselves in a safe environment.  Human and physical resources required:  Human - Facilitator with preferably a background in art or art therapy to assist participants.  Physical - Art supplies (paint, clay, pencils, paper, canvas etc) and a comfortable environment.  Budget and resources:  Budget $100 for art supplies, facilitator, space etc.  Aims and objectives : Fostering self-expression, creating a positive and safe environment, providing an opportunity for social interactions. a. The theme could be Australiana with each of the five students drawing ten pictures each, with the picture below depicting a theme for the cards that is pleasing to all. f. Using various colours to identify groups and techniques available based off their preferences and adaptability.  Purpose of activity:  The purpose of the art workshop is to promote a healthy wellbeing, whilst catering to all abilities and levels of art. This will allow all participants to engage at their own comfort level and express themselves in a safe environment.  Human and physical resources required:  Human - Facilitator with preferably a background in therapy to assist participants.  Physical - Art supplies (paint, clay, pencils, paper, canvas , cotton strips for the bean bags etc) and a comfortable environment. Colours - Various colours, various sizes and weight to allow all participants to play. Budget and resources:  Budget $100 for art supplies, facilitator, space etc.  Aims and objectives: a. Fostering competition, team building and creating a positive and safe environment, providing an opportunity for social interactions b. Participant involvement: Seek participants preferred colours and sizes of weighted bean bags beforehand ensuring that there is a wide variety and that the workshop aligns with their abilities and interests.  c. Adaptation: Offer simple instructions, an aide for support, adjust the pace of the lesson etc.  The lead for the activity would be the student with the Intellectually Disability as he has the knack for puzzles and games. Communication:
