2 Digital Tools in Education Some of Digital Tools that are Useful in Education Some critical digital tools that would positively impact education are apps like "keep the score," "Expeditions app," and Chromebook devices. Keep the Score app helps ensure an organized classroom. Rewarding the most behaved students, answering questions correctly, and handing in homework on time through grading while keeping the Score would keep the classroom under control since every learner would want to succeed (Renard, 2020). Another thing attractive about this application is that when integrated, the students can utilize it to play competitive games, which will keep the class lively. Expeditions app would bring life to the curriculum by availing expeditions to the educators and learners. Due to the wide range of expeditions for the learners, the class can learn from new experiences (Mistry & Rochelle, 2016). How Chromebooks Impact Education Chromebooks add value to digital education by enabling learners and teachers to access the curriculum content anywhere, anytime, which saves time. With the mentioned applications, online education can be implemented successfully even at lower grades while keeping learners lively through entertainment (Poth, 2019). Although I have not used chrome book in previous classes, it is high time to integrate the technology and enhance learning. Embracing in-person collaborations in the classroom and using Chromebooks for further research would foster creativity and improved performance. It is a good idea to keep the class ahead. However, care must be taken for the learners to use the technology wisely rather than concentrating on games and other online content. How to Utilize Chromebook in Education Given the Access
3 Given the opportunity to use tablets or Chromebooks, I would integrate the apps to keep the classroom active and regulate the learners' behaviors. Ideally, I will train the learners on how and when to use the Chromebooks, giving clear directions on what not to do with the devices. With the "keep the score" and "expeditions" applications, I will be able to track the behaviors of each student and grade them as per how they follow my instructions. When it comes to time for challenges, we can select expeditions from the app and allow the students to compete with appropriate scores being recorded. The technology will not only ease my work but also improve collaboration in the classroom (Google for Education, 2013). References Google for Education (Director). (2013). 4 Response to Lucia Fasano Hello Lucia. You posted an excellent discussion highlighting your experience with students using Chromebooks to enhance their learning. Your shared experience motivates me to integrate technology in my classroom as I intend. However, I wonder if my students will cooperate, given that some are used to playing online games with their parent's gadgets. Although it may be challenging, I will give clear instructions and keep track of the student's activities with the Chromebooks. Reply to Daniel Hernandez Hello Daniel, I sympathize with you that the Chromebook technology is inaccessible in your theatre classrooms. However, it is a good idea to introduce it if the schools support it. Now that you have been using your device throughout the day, you understand its use in education, even for the students. Indeed, integrating Chromebooks and relevant apps like classroom timers can improve classroom activities and time management.
