Task B (1000 words) 2.1 explain why it is important to identify and meet the individual needs of learners It In this era of promoting diversity and equality, it is one of the key factors to find out the individual needs and wants. The individual needs and wants are the key variables that create a challenge in the form of diversity. The key reasons behind the importance of identifying and meeting individual needs are- Achieving Quality: The key important factor is to achieve quality. Icon college emphasizes more on sustaining quality. For that reason, the individual needs of learners are analyzed and tried to be met by the teachers and trainers. Developing Talents: Each individual within a classroom has their own sets of skills that can be a big factor in the future. If these skills can be nurtured properly, great prospects can be built. That is what the college tries to make sure and this is the actual reason behind individual needs which is the development of talents. Creating interest: Skills and potential does not always is the main variable to success. The interest to be successful on many occasions becomes the key factor. For that reason, College encourages the teachers to make the lessons interesting by keeping up with the
individual needs
.3.3 explain how own planning meets the individual needs of learners
The planning in my field takes into consideration the aims of the students. As a teacher, I have to decide what the students need to accomplish in order to attain the goals by identifying their goals. For example,
I suggested that they study a few books from the Bible to help them discover answers to questions. I go to them for the opportunity to advance in their learning by giving them with particular materials that they must finish. Moreover, if the planning of lesson plans and lectures is done according to the students’ goals, then the lessons can include the topics which will be beneficial for an individual student.
A student who wants to work in the technical engineering field may require the lectures to include practical lessons, which will enrich his experience (Carrington, 2006). That’s why, effective planning of curriculum design and lesson planning will contribute to meet the individual need of learners. Besides, the learners will also be able to understand the goal of a curriculum or lesson plan, what the learner needs and behave according to the teachers plan. 3.4 explain ways in which teaching and learning plans can be adapted to meet the individual needs of learners The teaching and learning plans can be adapted to meet the needs of learners in different ways. The basic of this is to make sure that the learner’s goals are met, and they can reach their desired career outcomes or goals. As a result, the plans should be done in a manner that it includes all the necessary steps of a learner. While developing a curriculum or a lesson plan, the sector in which a learner wants to
join shall be taken into consideration. What type of skill does that sector demands, what does the learners need to learn, what kind of experiences does the learners need etc. If the learners require any
type of practical experience or special training, it should be included in the lesson plan. Besides, the time
frame is very important. While planning to develop a lesson or course, it should be taken into account how long time period does a learner requires to get a job in the desired sector (Samson, 2012). In some sectors, there are specific requirements that a candidate should have minimum 3 years or 4 years diploma or additional 1 year experience. All these should be take-in to account while developing a lesson plan. The physical and mental capabilities of a learner is also something which should be considered while developing teaching plans.
4.1 explain why it is important to promote appropriate behaviour and respect for others There are various cultures living their lives around any society. These cultures create a diversified set of people inside a society. These cultures are not just different in their beliefs and values but are also distinctive in their ways of living. But this distinctive nature of culture does not refer to any superiority or minority in a society. In fact, it is necessary that people understand the importance of and humbleness in each culture. As each culture has its own ways to look into a matter, these ways may vary
in terms of point of view but they share the same belief which is to respect others. In case 3, there was a
fight in the school playground. Which was between two groups. One which was Asians and the others were the White pupil. Now, these two types of people, Asian and White people share different cultures. This is something that cannot be a matter of dispute. The Asians share a very strong culture and have their own beliefs but that does not make them any different from the white pupil. On the other hand, the school administration only provided punishment to the Asians, which is clearly a breach of equality. But this should not be. As appropriate behavior and respect for others is too important to decline. This can be eliminated by different types of precautions taken before the occurrence of any unplayful events.
This promotion of equality and respect for others can be decisive for any institutes and especially for teachers.
4.2 explain ways to promote equality and value diversity People in a society share different values and beliefs. Despite that, these distinctive types of people are not different at all. Promoting equality and value diversity is a crying need right now. A proactive teacher
and with a mind of challenging the unequal behavior can definitely play a solid role in the promotion of equality and diversity which could have been pivotal in the case of Sikh boys’ turban (Kidd, 2010). They are to be treated with respect and the law should have been more practical for them. Lessons can be designed to promote equality and events like diversity day can set a solid mindset for the students. Some of the key ways to promote diversity and equality are-
Developing equal culture and rules for everyone inside the class.
Providing equal benefits for everyone.
Evaluating the performance of students with equal criteria.
Creating a diverse atmosphere inside the classroom.
6.1 explain the purposes and types of assessment used in education and training Diagnostic assessment: Main purpose of this assessment is to know the students, those the instructor is going to teach. Instructors try to find out the strength, weakness and knowledge of the students before starting the learning process.
Formative assessment: It is a feedback-based assessment. The main purpose of this assessment is to determine the efficiency of the instruction process by analyzing the feedback from students. Summative assessment: It adds high point of value. The main purpose of this assessment is to know the value that the instructions has add after comparing the instructional unit with benchmark.
Confirmative assessment: This assessment was designed to analyze the long-term outcomes of the instructions. Instructors try to evaluate that their given lectures are still on point. Norm-referenced assessment: The aim of the Norm-referenced assessment is to evaluate the students’ performance against standards or the performance of other students Ipsative assessment: It is the assessment of determining the progress of the students. The aim of this assessment is to define the improvement of the students by comparing their current performance with previous results. Criterion referenced assessment: The purpose of this assessment is to check whether the students are able to do a specific set of learnings. It is actually a kind of test which evaluates the curriculum knowledge and learnings. Standardized assessment: The aim of the standardized assessment is to determine the high and low performers of the class so that all the students can be treated accordingly.
Performance assessment:The purpose of this assessment is to test the conceptual skill of the learns, Instructors, test that whether the students can apply their theory-based knowledge in real life. Aptitude Assessment The purpose of the aptitude test is to discover the ability of the learners for doing any particular tasks or what they are capable of doing. Task D (1000words)
5.1 analyse the effectiveness of teaching and learning approaches used in own area of specialism in relation to meeting the individual needs of learners Different types of teaching and learning approaches has specific areas in which they are effective for students. Cooperative learning is one of the teaching and learning processes techniques I apply to address the specific requirements of learners. This is where I can provide section of study to each student to debate as component of a group's main theme, which I believe is a good comprehensive approach. I utilize role play as another complete teaching and learning tool in which each student gets the chance to act out now and, if required, invert the role. The other approach I take is to have students make presentations, which may be accomplished alone or in groups, and which allows them to develop skills and meet their unique requirements. There are many limitations toward the usefulness of all these

resources, such as technology, which could be costly and difficult to get in some areas. It's also interesting that individuals could become overly technologically advanced. Almost all of these resources rely on technology to operate, therefore means they will be rendered irrelevant if there is a power outage.
5.2 analyse benefits and limitations of communication methods and media used in own area of specialism Teachers utilize a number of communication strategies with pupils, the most prevalent of which is verbal. As a teacher, lectures, seminars, and questions are the communication strategies I utilize. Lectures can give information that is not easily available to students. Lectures provide me even as instructor absolute control over the students' acquiring information while posing minimal risk to them. Sensory students who prefer to learn by listening will prefer lectures. Although verbal communication is effective for delivering feedback since it is immediate, it is possible that the student will not hear it, especially if the student has hearing issues. Teachers must be cautious when giving verbal criticism to pupils, since both good and negative feedback can cause embarrassment.
There are numerous other downsides to verbal communication, including talking in jargon or acronyms that learners do not understand, delivering too much information in a short period of time, and students
not comprehending because English is not their first language or they struggle with it.
The importance of nonverbal clues in the communication process cannot be overstated. body language accounts for 55% of all message communicated. Body language may also be utilized to manage behavior; I frequently acknowledge small infractions with a disapproving glance in the direction of the students. Every student We educate has an email account provided by the institution, which they use on
a constant schedule. While a student is not present physically in the building, this is regarded the most effective means of reaching a professor. Students frequently notify me through email that they will be unable to attend the meetings to illness. I'd use emailing to keep students up to date on teaching-related material. I also send written comments to learners through email so that they may read it at their leisure. Maintaining a record of email correspondence might be beneficial in the event that proof of remarks made is necessary. Email has various drawbacks, such as the fact that some attachments are banned without warning, which means that neither side throughout the conversation will be aware that perhaps the email has not been received. Because students use their own private email accounts, it is also typical for them to neglect to check their email on a constant schedule, resulting in unnecessary contact. Social media is a comparable but less formal type of contact; students are considerably less likely to miss
this sort of communication; yet, it can be regarded as blurring the borders between student and professor owing to being in a social system. Social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram or WhatsApp should not be used to deliver any type of confidential information.
Voice recognition computer programs, smart boards, braille consoles, work sheets, and electronic devices are just some of the development tools I employ to assist learners with their difficulties. Learning disabilities kids utilize computers for compose so they would not have to worry with handwriting or language. To review content, we can use a surveillance camera, especially for the visually
impaired students.
5.3 analyse the effectiveness of resources used in own area of specialism in relation to meeting the individual needs of learners
The resources I use to illustrate the six threads of diversity and equality, such as handouts, help to create a vibrant and comprehensive session since they are distributed with each student, enabling them to follow along and participate. Learners are provided a guidance and a key point of what is expected inside the handout. Moreover, some traditional resources like the class lectures or PowerPoint slides are
effective, but they can be more effective when these are used with digital tools. In addition, the feedback from students by using digital resources or communication media can be very helpful. The use of digital resources has been more effective, especially during the COVID pandemic.
6.2 analyse the effectiveness of assessment methods in relation to meeting the individual needs of learners The different types of methods that is used for assessing the students have their own effectiveness’s. We have discussed them here according to their relation to meeting the individual learner needs. Formal Assessment methods are useful for many reasons, although in theirs, as already said, the level over which we provide them is inappropriate. Test and quiz: Multiple-choice questions, true and false questions, and fill-in-the-blank questions are forms of tests and quizzes used to evaluate students' understanding. As mentioned previously, this can be utilized for formal evaluation. We utilize them regularly, both verbal and non - verbal, at the end of lessons. This form of evaluation looks at both the learner and the subject. In terms of course content, it tells teachers if the course's level is correct or whether it needs to be adjusted (O’Connor, 2008). If students do not achieve well on final tests, the level has to be adjusted. Tests could also be used to test a learner's previous knowledge and, and yet again, to determine the level at which the course should be presented. For comparing the performance of a student, the quiz could be taken at the beginning and the end of the lesson to compare how knowledge has improved. If learners score more at the beginning tests rather than the final ones, we can be sure that the level should be increased. Informal assessments: Some of the widely used informal assessment are as follows: Grading - rather of having a tutor assess a student, we ask them to rate their abilities before they begin and after they complete a course. This is useful for determining how much the student believes they have progressed. We might build on this by asking tutors to rate their students' successes, which could then be utilized in one-on-one sessions, with student and tutor grades contrasted and used as a starting point for conversation. Portfolios - By looking back on all of their work throughout time, they can evaluate how they've progressed and/or where they need to improve. We did use it at first to photograph their culinary accomplishments. We, however, ceased to do so. I believe it would be beneficial if we reintroduced this,
and we could create a booklet of recipes for food they have created, which we could customize with their names. Written Samples/Project-Based Assignments - whatever literary work generates. That's not suitable in this environment because the most of our courses are practical and don't require documentation. Games may help develop skills in a variety of areas, including arithmetic, spelling, reading, and communication. We utilize it especially for reading and numeracy, and it's a more engaging and exciting
approach to improve students' abilities. Students also fight against one another to build a competitive advantage; tutors guarantee that they really do not win so that learners may feel accomplished. Students look up the meaning of words they don't understand on the internet. This approach has shown
to be highly effective.
7.1 analyse ways in which minimum core elements can be demonstrated in planning, delivering and assessing inclusive teaching and learning The minimum core skills refer to the literacy, language, ICT and numeracy skills of a teacher. These core skills is very important in the teaching profession, which is my area of specialism. These skills can be demonstrated in planning or developing an inclusive learning environment in the educational institute. In this type of environment, each student shall be treated equally, which is why the learners of inclusive environment can be confident that there will be no partiality in terms of assessment. However, the minimum core skills can be demonstrated in the inclusive learning as follows: Literacy: this skill can be demonstrated by enabling the learners to read and write more, focus on the Grammar and mistakes in grammar, give appropriate feedback about grammatical mistakes or punctuations etc.
Language: The major way of focusing on this skill is to make sure that the learners are given the theoretical knowledge of grammars and they practice speaking in a particular language more and more.
Numeracy: the theories and skills of carrying out different types of calculations, understanding different formulas and basic of formulas and calculations, interpretation of different calculation will enable a teacher to demonstrate numeracy in the inclusive learning environment. ICT skill: Practical training and the availability of different types of software’s and tools, 18 knowledge and understanding of digital media can be used to demonstrate this skill.
Task E (750words)
8.1 review the effectiveness of own practice in planning, delivering and
assessing inclusive teaching and learning taking account of the views of learners and others In terms of providing an inclusive program, I do an original estimate of the learners to understand about their perspectives, this aids in the formulation of both the best approach for them to achieve their objectives. Face-to-face interviews, one-on-one discussions, observations, and a review of their records can all be used to provide an initial evaluation. I create an individual learning plan (ILP) in which the curriculum is revised, executed, assessed, and judged in accordance with the ILP. Also, I established SMART goals with defined objectives that are quantifiable, achievable, relevant, and timely. As a result, the whole program is tailored to each individual, promoting inclusion. As a teacher, I also set aside time for feedback from students and others to determine whether or not objectives have been met, and if not, what changes need to be made to ensure that students learn successfully. This feedback may come in the form of assessments, exercises, individual presentations, portfolios, completed tasks, discussion groups, one-on-one sessions, as well as a variety of other styles that have been shown to aid accomplishment. While designing and developing a successful inclusive learning program, I utilize a

Teaching, learning and assessment in education and training are important both learners and educator. Educator uses different kinds of approaches in learning and teaching to make inclusive teaching and learning environment, to meet the needs of learners and to make the course effective. Learners gather knowledge and skills through inclusive learning and teaching. Educator also gather new experience through teaching and researching. Educator uses scheme of work, index, diverse resources and technologies. These resources save time in learning and teaching and make the course lively. Though these resources have some limitation, these are essential to teach learners productively. Educator uses these technologies and resources to ensure equality and value diversity of all learner, as learners needs are not same. Afterall, a course becomes effective through the cooperation both learners and educator.
