A US non-profit organization called Childhelp is committed to preventing and treating child abuse. Childhelp is one of the largest non-profit agencies in America that works to prevent and treat child maltreatment. It was first established in 1959 under the name International Orphans, Inc. by Yvonne Fedderson and Sara O'Meara

, n.d.). Childhelp is present all over the country, with numerous locations and a workforce of more than 700 people. It has facilities in Arizona, Tennessee, Virginia, Tennessee, and California. The organization provides services to mistreated and neglected kids and treatment professionals, teachers, parents, foster care families, society, and law enforcement personnel. Childhelp has attempted to raise awareness about child maltreatment through numerous community outreach efforts. As part of that effort, Childhelp launched the National Day of Hope in 2000.
Childhelp's primary service delivery functions include crisis counseling, residential treatment, hotlines, foster care and adoption services, outreach programs, and education. In this section, Leavitt's Diamond will be used to identify opportunities for improvement at the Childhelp agency. Childhelp's mission is to prevent child maltreatment and neglect. The agency provides various services to families and children who have been neglected or abused. Childhelp's goals are well-defined, and the organization has a strong reputation for sticking to all the established organizational goals.

Childhelp can make a positive difference in the lives of folks it helps and act as a model for other agencies by continuing to invest in its services and initiatives.
