Assignment #4 Form Page 2
Assignment 4 Reflection Component The presentation I've created and shown to you demonstrates how I've applied design aspects, such, as colour, layout, balance and originality. The colour/theme remains consistent throughout the presentation to show more simplicity and attractiveness. I've carefully arranged elements in a manner to ensure a flow of information between slides. It's crucial to maintain a balance, between text and visuals so that the slides don't become cluttered or overwhelming. By applying these design principles I have improved the effectiveness of communication throughout my presentation by making the content easily understandable and visually engaging for the audience. My presentation that combines pictures of city skylines and business related images uses colour to tell a story of professionalism, ambition and a global outlook. By including my skyline views, which introduces an energetic colour palette that represents progress. The other images representing each topic that I spoke about, commonly associated with environments adopt a subtle and refined colour scheme that conveys a sense of professionalism and dependability. My slideshow shows a nice and simple design that demonstrates a thought out approach. The simple layout focuses on the eye-grabbing visuals of the skyline and other images representing the topics being covered, which capture the attention of my audience effectively. This arrangement of images, creates a professional impression which does reflect the nature often linked with businesses. I specifically chose this strategic layout not only because it ensures a visual experience but also conveys the organized essence of the business world delivering a captivating story through skillful design principles. Throughout my presentation I have dispersed the material across each slide, the slides truly show the sense of balance shown because of this. The intentional placement of skyline views and business-related imagery, along with a structure, keeps the presentations from seeming cluttered or overwhelming. This doesn't only allow for the visuals to be better, but it also helps to a focused plot, allowing the audience to take in information in a way that benefits Assignment #4 Form Page 3

I have prepared this presentation to
highlight my grasp and utilization of
communication principles covered in the
Ametros Modules (LO) #3-6. My intention is
to share insights, from my academic
journey showcasing how these
communication teachings have had an
impact on my skills. Moreover I will reflect on three ELM LO
teachings recognizing areas where I still
have room, for growth and deeper
understanding.

In both professional and academic lifestyles, the Ametros
Module that speaks about the principles of equity,
diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are a big part for creating
successful environments. .
3 USEFUL ELM #3-6 LO
When it comes to academics incorporating the fundamentals of
design including colour, layout, balance and creativity can greatly
improve the way information ends up being communicated. For
example, when designing my own presentations or infographics,
careful consideration of colour selection can increase emotions or
draw attention to important points.
In certain settings making sure to include the guidelines for
video presentations can greatly improve the impact of
presentations and engage the audience more effectively. It is
important to also make sure that the quality of your delivery
is well thought through. Links used for images

3 CHALLENGING ELM #3-6 LO
It can be quite a
challenge to
incorporate persuasion,
into life because it
demands a
comprehension of how
communication,
whether spoken or
written impacts others.
In environments
students primarily
concentrate on
presenting information
rather than aiming to
persuade, which creates
a delicate equilibrium
when trying to infuse
persuasive elements.
Applying indirect
techniques, in
academic writing for
myself does get quite
challenging.
In environments, where
following established
conventions and
maintaining a structure
is essential deciding
whether to use a direct
or indirect approach
depends on factors like
the nature of the
argument and how
familiar the audience is
with the topic.
Integrating empathy,
into professional
settings can be
difficult since these
situations often
prioritize abilities and
task-focused
objectives over
interpersonal
understanding. In the
realm, where the
focus is usually, on
analytical thinking
and objective
reasoning the
cultivation of
empathetic skills may
be neglected.

CONCLUSION
In short my various experiences and skills demonstrate my commitment,
reliability and effective communication, in line with Ametros Modules (LO) #3-
6. I understand the importance of recognizing areas where we can improve
especially when it comes to equality, diversity and inclusion. I believe that
focusing on the basics of design and delivering high quality content is crucial
for enhancing communication. It's not easy to incorporate elements into
writing while maintaining a balance between providing information and
convincing the reader. Through this presentation I aim to have demonstrated
my understanding of communication principles while also acknowledging my
commitment, to growth and improvement.
