Presenting Justification for Diagnosis
Hello Adam, thank you for joining me today. Today we will go over your results from your 16 personalities assessments and MAPP career assessment that you have completed that measured your personality and career path. Before we jump right in, I want to take a moment to recognize that there are some cultural differences, and if you feel I am not fully understanding something during our sessions, please bring it to my attention so that I can further educate myself to better assist you.
Let's begin by discussing your results from the 16 Personalities assessment. Your personality type is identified as an Entertainer, indicating traits such as spontaneity, energy, and enthusiasm. You bring vibrancy to the lives of those around you, thriving on lively experiences and eagerly delving into the unknown aspects of others. Additionally, you exhibit boldness, originality, positivity, and strong interpersonal skills. Your results suggest a preference for being an extravert, although you also value your alone time. You demonstrate keen observation skills with
a focus on the present moment. Furthermore, you tend to prioritize both feelings and logical reasoning, as you embrace flexibility over rigid planning, and exhibit a turbulent approach rather than assertive. Given these traits, a career path in clinical mental health counseling appears to be a fitting challenge for you. Your enjoyment of social interactions and your ability to uplift others,
even in challenging situations, align well with the demands of this profession.
According to your MAPP assessment, you exhibit moderate motivation for supervising others, and you thrive on receiving and offering praise. You seek variety in your work, finding repetitive tasks uninteresting and gravitating toward activities that are stimulating and inspiring. In your interactions with others, you display intuition and a philosophical outlook, considering perspectives from both logical and emotional standpoints. Moreover, you enjoy socializing and engaging with others, demonstrating a preference for collaborative environments.
If you decide to collaborate with me, I suggest maintaining your focus on your academic journey and achieving your milestones. Consider the possibility of joining the American Counseling Association, as it offers opportunities for professional development, ongoing education, and networking. The counseling profession is expansive and demanding, but it aligns well with your strengths and preferences. Embracing the diversity of work tasks and the variability inherent in this
field can be advantageous, as each client presents unique challenges and opportunities for growth
Adam, do you have any questions about your results or recommendations for us to work on in the upcoming weeks?
